Question about Mitsubishi Heating & Cooling

Mitsubishi Mr Slim Inverter not blowing cold air. 2 solid, green indicator lights on. Fan barely blowing even on highest setting. What is the fix?

Have reset the wall unit via the remote, have washed the filters, powered the unit off and on, all with same result. I only have access to the wall mount unit inside my apartment.

SOURCE: panasonic air con unit is not blowing cold air out.

This unit is use in motels etc. Check the ouside coil ( conderser) from the inside (discharge fan ) for dirt. Most of these units are floor level . This can cause a unit to short cycle ( cold air is at the floor) .

SOURCE: No heat generated from the inside unit in Misubishi Mr. Slim

If you do not have a windbaffle installed on the outside unit the unit may never come out of defrost in low ambient temperatures. Depending on the outside temperature it might be telling the pcb to stay in defrost to keep the compressor from slugging and being damaged.

Hi,

Have your system checked by a professional.
From what you are describing here it seems as thoug you have a slight leak in the system somewhere and therefore the system is not cooling or heating properly.

Have them check the system... verify the low charge, fine the leak and repair it.
Vacuum and recharge the system...

Then check the operation before you let them out of your sight.

...It can be tough to get some contrators back if you let them go before you check it...espec. if you pay them...:-)
