Is that you Larry? Cooking skills as well :>) I think they are cast iron pans

  • Anonymous Jul 06, 2020

pans come on cast iron, aluminum, or SSD or copper clad, SST. (and more)
no photos of your pans, how can any one guess what you have, lacking a simple photo posted.

my wild guess ( useless) are Aluminum and parked in the basement are not corroded to aluminum Oxide, seen as white powder that rubs off, with a finger.
that is what all old raw aluminum does, but not anodized alum. but if the that wears off , then it does corrode to. see AA on a screen door frame?
why not clean them. why worry if not used to boil bug spray or melt lead that is..........

hit it with Ajax and elbow grease, .
and nobody eats off bottom of pans. do you?
but do clean them or ask the maid.

Yes, because your food does not come into contact with the outside.

If they are cast iron, you can spray the bottom with 'Easy Off' oven cleaner, put them in a bag and leave it for a couple of hours and the rinse off, scour and re-season them.

How do you make basic white sauce?

It begins with 2 Tablespoons of butter and 2 Tablespoons of All purpose flour. First you melt the butter in a sauce pan on low to medium heat. When it is melted add your flour and stir until it becomes completely combined. Then slowly add 1 cub of milk ( I use whole milk for this recipe, I have never used any other type of milk for my sauces) constantly stirring. You will notice that it will begin to thicken. If it feels as if it's sticking to the bottom of the pan remove it from the heat and continue to stir until it's as thick as you wish it to be. You can put it on and off the heat (still stirring) as often as you need to.

Is it possible to restore the teflon surface of teflon coated pans on which the surface has become scratched (in this case Jamie Oliver Tefal Frying pans)

No. There is no effective repair procedure for the pan once the teflon coating has become scratched down to the bare metal or begins peeling off.

You can continue to use the pan safely, but the non-stick surface will not be as effective as an undamaged coating would be.

Never use metal forks / spatulas / utensils on a teflon coated pan.

Instead try using thermal rated plastic, teflon, or wooden spatulas which will not scratch the pan coatings.

Good luck.

We purchased the Hunter Ceiling fan over a year ago and it has worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago. When we turn on the light it just continuously blinks on and off.

there is a watt governor, or black box for the lights to cut down on wattage or energy use. you can remove the black box for the lighting, and wire it directly to the main wires. white wire to white wire, and black wire to red wire. black and red are always a hot wire and white is a neutral wire. the part number on black box should be 98480-02. this should stop the lights from blinking. have a good day !

Hmmm... Have you updated your driver recently or installed any new software?

If then, you are seeing options to go to safe mode na? Go to safe mode and open "system restore." Try to restore to some near date.
