I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.

You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.

My flat screen Sylvania TV is flashing different colors what's wrong

Better late than never. The problem is that your TV is in the service mode. There are many ways this can happen. But, lets just get down to fixin this! With the original remote and the TV on. If the TV will not shut off, do this. Press the left cursor button on the remote, followed with pressing the right cursor. Power off the TV with remote, or press off button on TV.

Secondly, your TV will power on and off. But you have flashing colors. Do this. With the original remote and TV on. Press the up cursor button, on the remote, followed with pressing the down cursor. Power off TV with remote, or press off power of TV. Thanks for asking me, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

I fell asleep on my Emerson LC320EMX 32 hdtv remote; when I awoke, the tv was flashing ONLY colors (red, black,blue,white)...Now, How do I get it out of that mode....I was told its stuck in set-mode ?

I had this problem with the LC320EMX, after extensive searching on the internet, I found a solution. The TV has entered some kind of test pattern, to escape from the flashing color test pattern do the following:
While the screen is changing from red, green,Blue,White, & Black, and is Unresposive, Take your factory remote, Press the up arrow, then the down arrow, then (ON THE TV) press the power button. Turn the set back on and it should be functioning properly. (BTW: the set gets into this test pattern if you press too many buttons on the remote, or if you use a universal remote with the wrong code)

Tv flashes red blue green

Hi this happened to me and it is stuck on burn in mode. You need the remote, or any remote that has a menu button that works on this paricular tv. Just press the menu button on the remote once or twice and it will come on. The menu button on the tv does not work though.

Someone apparently has been messing with the remote control. The TV seems to be stuck in a mode. When the power is turned on, the TV shows a blue flashing channel indication (9-2) in the upper left hand...

Hello and yes there is a easy way to solve this issue, on your Panasonic remote go to options or menu, in your memory list there should be a selection called either factory reset or default settings, choose it and hit OK, this will set your tv back to its original out of the box state.

What code do i need for onn tv from thomson dt16300-16 remote control and how to do it

Hi Melanie, I tracked down the codes for your onn tv.

Onn TV Codes - 1179 , 0586

On the DTR remote Press TV,, now press
and hold OK and AV together. The TV button will flash twice. Now enter one of the 4 digit codes. Again the TV button will flash twice. If an invalid code is entered, the TV button
will only flash one long flash. If the first code does not work try the next code with the same sequence.

Incase you want the manual and remote codes to download, (click HERE for manual) and

My tv just changes colors when I turn it on with no picture, no of the buttons work on the remote or tv, what is the problem

Your TV is in the service mode. Just try one of two things to correct this. With the original remote, press the cursor button left, followed by pressing the right cursor button. Now shut the TV off. When you power up your TV it should be fine. The second thing to try is to press the cursor button up, followed by pressing the cursor button down. Power off the TV. Now power it up and it should be fine. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.

Need Dish DVR ViP722 remote code.

If you are looking to have the Dish remote operate your TV, just do a random search for your tv. First, hold down the tv button on the dish remote until all the rest of the light up. Next press the tvpower button on the dish remote. Next, press the channel up button (this is the up arrow button) until the set turns off. When it does turn off, press the # key at the bottom right of the remote. The tv button will light and flash twice. That's it. Your done. Hope this helps.
