If you inserted the same DVD and it doesn't play, the player has been damaged or has become defective.

SOURCE: Disk drive

There may have been a Windows update that corruptdated one of your Windows Media Player files. Check for spyware or a virus. WMP is usually an avenue for thay sort of thing. Check for updats to all software involved. You may also consider doing a firmware update if they have one. Good Luck, Tim

Bought my onn DVD PLAYER from Walmart Super store, Sierra Vista ,Az. Two days ago. Worked fine, until last night--- An error code of (no disc) appears it (error disc) How do I fix this??? It's Christmas...

Hello, Julie -

1. I hope you checked the user manual for your DVD player to determine if your problem is in the list of troubleshooting issues.

2. Check if the disk you put into the DVD player is compatible to play in your machine. Did you try to play a Blu-Ray disk in the DVD player? If so, trying to play a non-compatible disk will result in in the No Disk or Error message.

3. Make sure the compatible disk is inserted into the player tray with the readable side of the disk facing downward.

Best wishes.

Will not play dvd's... get error message no disk... wrong disk ... tried multiple disk

Is this a cheaper-budget brand player? If so it could simple be a dead laser. The old cheap apex player were prone to that. They only cheap solution is to try a dvd laser cleaner. Possible accumulated dust etc is on the eye. Other than that it is probably best to pick up a new player. It's a throw away world these days.

Solutions to incorrect disk error c105 & c104

Hello gjbrokke,

First make sure the disc is compatible with the dvd player (CD-R+ , or CD-R - )

Second make sure the region code of the dvd you burned is compatible with the dvd region settings on your dvd player.

One of those two are preventing the disc from playing in your sansui player.

Coby209

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

If the unit is showing "wrong disk" on every disk that you try to play, unfortunately, the unit has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. Our warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. If you've had the player longer than 90 days, I regret to inform you it is out of warranty.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

Play Back

Some DVD players can't read -R & -RW disks. When you finalize make sure it is in Video mode not VR mode so the recorded disk will be able to work in most other DVD players. Also some DVD players only read recorded disks rated up to 1x, 4x, 8x, 16x, or a combination of these speeds.

DVD starts to load but does not play.

Not sure if anyone found this solution, worked for me.
1. Press SETUP
2. Press FFW, F REW, NEXT, PREVIOUS
3. Change the code to 255 using the RIGHT arrow key

This will unlock the DVD player for all regions.
