I am unable to hard reset my dragon touch y88x plus. I've tried powering down,hold the volume - and power button but everytime it boots up with the dragon touch symbol then login screen

It means what it says. You have set it so that too many failed attempts will clear all the data in case of theft.

The problem is that you set the pattern and you are the only one that is supposed to know that pattern. There is no magic password, or way to get past it.

The only way to proceed is to scrub all the data by reloading the operating system and start with a clean machine.

May seem silly, but you don't say if the battery is fully charged.

You need to fully charge the tablet and THEN do a factory reset. The hardest part is waiting.

Follow the steps provided below to perform a Hard Reset on your iRULU Android Tablet:

1. Turn your iRULU tablet off.
2. Press and hold the correct key combinationto boot your Android tablet into Recovery Mode.combinations, which include:

2) Tap the power-on button and volume down button at the same time
3) Tap and hold the power-on and volume down buttons until you see the android alien icon
4) tap the power-on and volume up again at the same time until you see the System recovery menu.

recovery system from backup

select (wipe data/factory reset) bush pushing the power button to select it and restart the device after.

Pull the battery and try again. You may need to operform a hard reset.
