You can't the password for setting up bluetooth is fixed in the unit on a 3100.

if you where trying to install the 2.18 update for the 3100, try running the update again if your
pc still sees your 3100. if it doesnt see it, it becomes alot more difficult to restore.

where are you getting that error message, on the pc or the 3100

That does not sound like a problem with a memory upgrade. try to unistall McAfee and reinstall. The memory change may have threw McAfee off. Make sure that the ram is also in the right bus. Buses are color coded and the 2 ram stick have to go into the same bus. this can cause problems

go to Tech support at www.magellamgps.com tell them what has transpired and ask for 2.18 Update Recovery Files. This fixed my problem. Took a few email exchanges but I thought the responses were very quick.

I would like to upgrade to windows XP, not sure on what upgrades to do. Can't find specs on this mobo. Help!

you cannot buy a card, the graphics are built into the motherboard, in other words onboard, but the costs will probably be more than anew notebook
