Hello, my Precor EFX 546 (5vj29k0007) accidentally got wet when someone power washed the deck that the machine sits under and the machine was not covered. Now it won't turn on. Any suggestions?

If it is still under warranty, by all means keep calling the company and complaining until they fix it. Trying to fix it yourself will risk invalidating the warranty altogether.

My initial guess is that there is something blocking or slowing down the drain pump, which is preventing spin cycle from working properly, but with a front loader that is only one of quite a few possibilities.

You may have to purchase the belt from a Precor dealer in you area, if you don't have one then call Precor directly @ 1-800-347-4404 and they will help you. Most of these part have not hit the secondary market yet and Precor pretty much call the shots on whom the sell parts and support to.

There is also a 1 year part warrant for other parts, I just don't know what parts they are covering for the 10 yr.

Switch the machine off at the panel and at the wall plug, this will reset the main logic board as you've interrupted the cycle and confused the electronic calculations in simple understandable terms.Then close the door and make sure that it is firmly closed(won't open on it's own due to a damaged lock from forcing) if it remains closed and firm then the locking mechanism is not broken. So switch on the wall plug first then the main on off switch on the panel if there is one.There should be life. If there is you are lucky there is no damage, if not then you will have to replace the door lock switch.
