SOURCE: how do I remove the fan from an electrolux EGC652 oven

Hello,
The model no. does not seem correct.but it seems as if the hole in the fan blade which is normally D shaped has worn round. The thread on the shaft is Left handed and you will need to undo by turning clockwise. If you can get a vice grips at the back of the blade to hold the shaft then try again,or you will need to get into the back casing and try jamming the shaft at the motor housing you may need some help. Then if that works you will need to undo the 3 bolts holding the Motor body to the rear casing. The new fan would normally come with new bolts, blade and nut.To tighten fan blade nut use a 10mm socket hold the fan blade and tighten anticlockwise.Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

PELONIS PFS45A5BBB 18 inch, 5-Blade Oscillating, Adjustable Standing Pedestal Fan. I need a lock nut of grill for fan model # PFS45A5BBB where can I get one please?

Question edited for clarity, full 'make model (what is is)'.
Question moved to Pelonis Fans (all fans are dryers on Fixya).

No parts are available, because they are all made in China as a disposable item. Take one of the remaining lock nuts off and take it down to Home Depot (or similar in South Africa or New Zealand) or a local industrial fastenings place and match it to a new one.

Lasko table fan model 4916 , I would like to know how to take it apart to clean it.

Kevin-
LASKO's typically have latches or clips that hold the front fan guard to the back fan guard.
Flip latches or carefully remove the plastic clips. This will reveal the 'nut' that secures the fan 'blade assembly'. Note, the nut has 'lefthand' thread so to remove it, turn it clockwise to remove.
The fan blade assembly can be pulled / wiggled free.
The fan blade assembly can be washed with water / wiped with a cloth.
Another nut (righthand thread) secures the back half of the fan guard, remove it and remove the guard.
That should do it.

Disc removal

The button does not disengage the blade, it only locks the blade/motor from spinning so you can remove the locking nut. Lock the spindle/motor/ blade, from moving and then remove the locking nut or disk. Should be counter-clockwise.

The main oven fan in Hotpoint BD32B is sticking (tries to rotate but goes slow and stops). I need to either re-lubricate the existing fan or replace it. How do I remove the fan?

Remove the cover at the rear of the oven compartment, then holding the fan blade with one hand, undo the nut holding the fan on, it is a left hand thread, so turn the nut clockwise as though you were tightening it.
To remove the motor itself you will have to undo 3 screws securing the fan motor from inside the oven compartment, then remove the outer rear cover of oven to remove the motor.

Broken glass jug on kitchenaid blender model 5ksb2aer4

Look at the underside of the blade shaft. The metal wing nut on the end of the shaft secures the blade assembly to cream coloured plastic blade base. The wing nut also transmits the drive from the rubber coupling on your blender to the blade shaft. The wing nut has a LEFT HAND thread.
The left hand thread ensures the blade assembly does not unscrew during normal blender use.

Firstly disassemble the blender blade assembly. Place a folded tea towel over the blades and hold the blades firmly. If you do not use a tea towel you may cut yourself.

Grip the wing nut with your other hand and unscrew it CLOCKWISE.
Remove the wing nut. You can now remove the blade from the plastic base.

Put the blade assembly in the new jug and offer up the plastic base from under the jug so that the blade shaft protudes enough for you to install the wing nut.

Screw the wing nut ANTI-CLOCKWISE to secure the blades to the plastic base.

Do not over tighten the wing nut; you may have to replace your jug again at some point.

I have tried numerous times to undo a nut on my Black and Decker circular saw without success. which way do I turn the nut to undo it and take the circular saw blade?

Am I correct that this is a hand-held saw? Want to make sure of the terminology.

If so, the bolt holding the blade has right hand threads -- meaning it loosens by turning counter-clockwise.

Is there a blade lock? Are you using it?

Unable to remove the fan blade on the neff u1721 oven (too tight)

The nut is a left hand thread, so unscrew it clockwise to release it, hold fan blade as you are doing this. Tighten anti- clockwise.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
