SOURCE: low pressure and flow on hot water side of single handle faucet

It could be one of two problems, one simple, one serious.

  • Easy fix
  1. Turn off hot water angle stop under sink to faucet.
  2. Remove supply line from hot angle stop.
  3. Place end of supply line in a small bucket to catch some water.
  4. Turn on cold water for a couple of seconds and backflush debris from faucet.
  5. Reconnect supply line.
  6. Turn on angle stop and test
  • Complex fix
If you have steel pipes you may be experiencing reduced flow due to corrosion in your pipes. Reduced hot water pressure in the kitchen faucet is usually the first sign since this is the faucet that is most used in the home.

Repiping is a job for a professional. Another symptom you may need a repipe is orange colored or rusty water.

SOURCE: DELTA MODEL 470-WH LOW WATER FLOW AT KITCHEN FAUCET

This could be a couple of things.

  1. First remove the aerator from the wand and make sure you have plenty of flow with it off.
  2. If there is flow clean or replace the aerator.
  3. Remove the wand and look between the hose connection and the wand there should be a screen between them. Remove the screen and clean or replace.
  4. Make sure hose is kinking under the sink.
If you need a diagram of the faucet with part numbers here is the link:

The little wrench tightens the tension ring that fits on the inside of the retaining nut right under the handle. You fit the little "arms" in the notches.

SOURCE: how do I take apart a moen 8710 single handle

The top pops off and there is a crew under it. It's all pretty easy but when you put it back together you have to do a tricky angle kick with the handle. Watch carefully as you take the handle off and put it on and off several times to see what is needed. If you do it wrong the handle sets on top of the black thing and doesn't work right, The cartridge in the faucet pulls out with difficulty if you have hard water. There is a little clip near the the top that holds the cartridge in. You should be able to get a repair kit that has the cartridge and new O-rings for the spout.

SOURCE: Leaking Delta kitchen faucet dual handle

Pry the hot/cold button off the top of the handle. Make sure the water is turned off below the sink.

Under the button should be screws. Remove the screws. Pry the handle off. Remove the stems by lifting then out.

That should give you access to the washers you need to change.

Have a 2011 delta purchased kitchen faucet, 2 handle, no handle set screws, how to remove handle

They should simply twist off (unscrew)from the base. Assuming thus is a two handle faucet the "body" right below the handle will simply unscrew reveling the cartridge underneath. Hope this helps!

Delta faucets troubleshooting

Spray with lubricant and let it work - you may have to spray more than
once - main thing is do not strip the screw head....try a long handled
screw driver.

I am repairing my Delta 200 faucet. Having a problem getting the spout off. How is that done? Thanks

Remove the set screw holding the handle on. Pull the handle off and then remove the large diameter slotted nut holding the ball valve in place. After you remove that the spout, remove the ball valve abd then just pull the spout up and off. You may have to work it back and forth and you may have to spray some WD40 and let it sit overnight. It will come off.

My Delta type kitchen sink handle is loose and keeps shutting water off. I have to turn it up a lot to keep it going. I could remove Red / Blue plug and do not know what to do beyond to tighten it?

Inside the handle of a Delta kitchen sink faucet is a small setscrew. You need an 1/8th inch allean wrench or Delta faucet tool to lossen the setscrew. Rotat the screw about 3 full turns counterclockwise, this should be emough to remove the hnalde. Under the Delta faucet handle is a white plastic ring with four notches. If you have a Delta faucet tool, you place it in two of the notches and slowly turn the ring clockwise to tighten the Delta ball assemby. This will keep the handle from moving by itself. If you do not have Delta faucet tool, use a pair of needle nose pliers in stead.

Fix delta bathroom faucet. How do you get the chrome handel off after you removed the allen screw. Doesn't want to come off with reasonable pressure/coaxing.

The handles just pull off. Make sure the set screw is completely turned all the way out. It is more than likely corroded. Rock it back and forth while at the same time pulling up. It will eventually come off. Click link for view. http://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/details/2256SS-216SS.html
