SOURCE: disque cod?

To have answers in these types of groups it is best to translate in to English.

The question in English:
Hello, I have a problem with a laptop which called for a password bios. Well, I removed the battery for a moment and that is installed. I launched the boot on the disc cd then it did the restart, it asks me a password hard disk. I then passes through several means even SKY_FOX I tried but nothing.C 'is a brand Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook and I do even more started on the system' exploitation. I really need help, if you could do something without needing expensive experts. Thank you. __ Have you contacted the former owner to get the password? If the hard disk is pass-word protected and you do not have the password, the fix would be to un-install the partition, and re-make it. Then do the full re-installation of the operating system, and the re-registration for ownership. In some cases where the hard disk is password locked, there may be no possible way to be allowed to undo and re-make the partition to do a full re-install. If this is the case, changing the hard disk will fix it. The old hard disk would be scrapped unless you can have its password. BIOS Level Password Procedure: With some models of computers, you can remove the BIOS battery and wait until the BIOS setup is depleted. Then you should then be able to have access to re-set up the BIOS. You will have the choice to put in a new password or simply not to. If the computer hardware is pass-worded at the BIOS level and it does not deplete with the battery removal, you will have to send the computer back to the manufacture to have the computer un-locked. You will have to pay the shipping and the service fee. When sending the computer back to the manufacture for the unlock, you will be asked for proof of ownership of the computer with proof of identification. With most computer companies, a copy of the purchase invoice, and a copy of your driver's permit or citizenship card should be acceptable. ________________________________

My monitor says :"No signal" What is the problem?

To help you troubleshoot the monitor 'No Signal' issue, please find the steps given below:
- Turn off your computer.
- Unplug the cable running from your monitor to your PC and plug it back in, making sure the connection is firm. The most common cause of this error is a loose cable.
- Re-attach the cable running from your monitor to your PC. If the monitor is still not displaying a signal after firmly reattaching the cable, the problem could lie with the cable, especially if the cable has visible damage.
- Replace your monitor with another monitor if possible. If the 'No Signal' error still appears, the problem does not rest with the cables or the monitor, but with your PC.
- Open your PC case and locate your video card. Remove the card and then replace it firmly in its slot or, if possible, insert the video card into another slot on your motherboard. A video card that is not making a firm connection will not display images to the monitor. Close your PC case and test the monitor again.
- Replace your video card completely. Your video card may suffer from internal damage that is not allowing it to output a signal.
If issue persists, it is recommended to contact your monitor manufacturer for further assistance.

Hello.

Switch the monitors on your video card to see if the monitor or the video card port is the problem. If the same problem occurs on the left side with a different monitor, the video port is problematic. If the problem switches to the right side, the monitor is problematic.

Or, hook one monitor at a time to test on the right and left sides.

Hope this helps.

Does the video card have a cooling fan on it or a passive heatsink? If it has a fan then make sure it is working when the computer is on. If it does not have a fan you could try installing a small fan on the heatsink to help cool it. Is your powersupply rated high enough to work on that video card? High end video cards are very power hungry and might be taxing your current power supply. If the voltage drops it could cause the video card display to shut off...especially when playing video games at high res. Verify that the video card is properly seated into the slot and you may also want to try and remove the card, clean the contacts, and the re-insert the card. And if you are using software to overclock the card or if you computer multiplier/FSB has been raised then this can raise the clock speed of the agp/pci-express port and cause video problems. Also verify that the agp/pci-express voltage is adjusted to what the video card requires.

You might wanna reset your monitor's settings to default, just play with your monitor's options untill you find the reset to default option. If resetting the monitor's settings doesnt work, then try resetting your video card's settings. right click the desktop and open your video card's control panel, then look for the reset to default options, especially on the color settings, wherever they are (control panels for graphic cards vary by vendor ie ATI/Nvidia, and/or by the control panel's version)

24" DOA Soyo Monitor

What size monitor were you using before? If you were using a smaller monitor and everything was fine maybe this new monitor is out of range for the graphics card. I've found that not all graphics cards, especially older ones, will not run a monitor as large as 24 inches. If you can, connect this new 24 inch monitor to a computer with a more powerful graphics card. If it works then you will know that the problem is with your computer. Also connect your old monitor and go into control panel and see what range and resolution your graphics card will support. You may need a more powerful card to run the new monitor.

it may not be the monitor. it may be the video card has a burnt image in it. if you have an integrated graphics card, then there is no way to fix this that i know of. if you have a PCI-e, PCI, or AGP card, then you can simply find a new card. i'm not sure if that is the problem, but you can check.
