My lg tv is auxillary blocked and i dont have remote. How do i fix this

Figure out where the sensor is and block it to see if stray IR is hitting it.

Try unplugging the power and then holding down the power button for a few seconds either on the remote or tv. I think this will reset the lcd tv. Tell me if this works.

You say the "i tried to use its original remote and it dont work"... do you have another that does work? ex: cable box remote. I ask because if other remotes work with the TV, it may just be your original remote... batteries dead or broken. If other remotes do not work, your repair person may not have connected the remote sensor within the TV during the repair. I hope this was helpful.

is it the factory remote? if it is check to see if something is blocking the sensor on the tv, clean the sensors, if it is a universal remote alot of new tvs have codes that even some of the new universal remotes dont support. if thats the case you will just have to make do.

Go through the channels and see if you can get there that way (below channel 2). If not, consider a One For All universal remote, the TV/VIDEO button changes it to auxillary.

To play tv sound, get an optical cable and run it from the tv to the back of the sound system. Then use your sound system remote to change the input or function until it says 'aux opt' short for auxillary optical.

I would try going to the manufacturers site and downloading the manual if you don;t still have yours.

Have you tried selecting it in the channel section of the menu? The main menu also might have an input option since there is no "input" or "source" button on your remote.
