What does flashing h mean on Frigidaire refrigerator?
What do the alarms or error messages mean on my Side-by-Side refrigerator? (frigidaire.com)
H or HI or High Temp - Indicates the freezer and/or refrigerator section of your appliance have exceeded the temperature threshold. This is usually caused by inadvertently not closing the door all the way or leaving the door open for an extended period of time. The alarm can be muted but it will stay active (or illuminated) until the temperature resumes normal operation.
- If the temperature of your freezer reaches 26 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, the alarm will activate.
- If the temperature of your refrigerator reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, the alarm will activate.

Sort of sounds like the adaptive defrost board is bad and you are not going into a defrost cycle. Do you have ice build up on the lower interior freezer section? Are the vent slots full of frost/ice? Ideally, pull the freezer shelfs out and take the little aluminum panel off the interior back to look at the coils. Are they basically a block of ice and frost? The problem happens when the unit doesn't go into defrost cycle and the coils freeze up. That blocks the air flow in the freezer so you get frozen food at the bottom but soft stuff at the top. And the frige just can't get enough cool/cold air from the freezer section to cool anymore. Power surges or blackouts, etc. can just destroy the defrost circuit board. Without good air flow the unit is not going to cool properly.

Control board has gone bad....
What happens is the defrost is controlled electronically from a circuit board, when this goes bad, the freezer quits defrosting, and freezes the fans that circulate air through the fridge side of things.
To check this, unplug the entire fridge, leave the freezer open, wait for it to defrost a bit, if this causes the fridge to start cooling again when you plug it back in, then its the defrost. You should also see ice crystals on the back of the freezer just under the icemaker.

Your refrigerator is equipped with an onboard diagnostic system. If the diagnostic
system detects a fault, it will display a specific line segment on you refrigerators
LED display. If your refrigerator is displaying an error code, please note the
error code, and reset the refrigerator by unplugging the refrigerator for 30
seconds. When the refrigerator is plugged in, it performs a self diagnostic
check of the various sensors and functions. If the error code reappears your
refrigerator will require service. Please click the "Create Online Service
Request" button below this article to initiate the service process. After
a power outage the display panel may start blinking "88 88." If you
unplug the unit for 30 seconds then plug it back in the display will return
to normal operation after several hours. The power outage/surge can cause a
communication error between the circuit boards in the unit. It can take several
hours for these boards to stabilize.
If the display does not reset, go to the Samsung Support link above, enter your model number, and follow the prompts to request a service ticket.
Good luck, and if this helps, please rate my answer!
SOURCE: Flashing #4 on temperature display
flashing #4 is a communication error between the control board and the damper assy, usually it is the fault ogf the damper assy but if it is under mfg warranty, replace both, if you need to pay for the parts yourself get the damper first.
Hello Angela Clark - Typically error code SY CF indicates that the refrigerator has detected a communication failure after power up. Contact a professional to move forward accurately. The wiring between the main control board and user interface board will need to be check and diagnose. Depending on the diagnoses the main control board may need replacing.
