Pool pump breaker tripping

1) Not likely the timer is problem, unless there was fire or overheating in timer box. Use nose and eyes to inspect for signs of high heat.

2) Eliminate timer as suspect:
Move wires on timer to test if timer relays have gone bad.
Move terminal 4 to terminal 3
Move terminal 2 to terminal 1
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html#T104

3) Check watt rating of Hayward pump, and voltage.
1Hp motor at 240Volt draws 8 amp, and can draw 6 to 8 times that amount when starting. Up to 100 feet, should be at least 12 gauge wire and double-pole 20 amp breaker. Over 100 feet, 10 gauge wire and 30 amp double-pole breaker is best.

4) Intermatic T104 240V timer is rated 40 amps
Can safely handle 1 Hp motor without nearing heat-rating capacity of timer

5) Make sure the motor is wired correctly for 240Volts.
If motor is wired for 120, and 240 is applied, then tripped breaker can result.

I have a brand new Sherman Timeoff Water Timer Model 500 in a box, but there are no instructions. Can you help?

It appears that you turn the dial to any setting from 1 to 13 depending upon how much water you want the timer to dispense. The numbers show relative amounts from 100 total gallons to 400 total gallons, then the timer shuts off.

If you have voltage drop it would not effect the clock motor it would effect the light farthest from the house.Every 75 from the power source the wire needs to be the next larger size up. Example #12 to #10 to#8 to#6etc

Just hooked up my new Magnavox DV220MW9 DVD Player ? VCR Recorder. I was able to set the time and a vcr timer program but now I can't switch the source. It now comes on as the DVD but neither the remote...

You need to release the timer to access the VCR. Press the Timer Set button on the remote or the Stop/Eject button on the recorder. Then press the VCR button.

Please note: the scheduled recording will not run as programmed unless you press the Timer Set on the remote again. (The timer locks the VCR until the scheduled ON time.) The DVD player is controlled separately and becomes the default unit.

I hope this helps.

I programmed the timer to go on and off at a specific time and it doesn't work. The time of day and the date are working fine. It is only programmed for one light.

To program the ST01C:
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html

ST01C manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-st01c.pdf

1) Manual has troubleshooting. Since ST01C is battery operated, it will not work on loads farther than 100 feet away from timer. If a wire is buried underground, this can interfere with operation. Other electrical devices can interfere with timer operation.

2) Solution:
a) Check for interference issues listed above.
b) Press MODE and make sure it is set to AUTO. If timer will not enter AUTO then no program has been set.
c) Re-check your programming as shown in step 6 of manual. Remember timer offers 40 programs. To set Program 1 >> 'on' time has to be entered and saved for Program 1 >>> and then 'off' time has to be entered and saved for Program 1. And then press MODE and set to AUTO.

253.64802409 (model), serial #BA60607122. Top freezer and I am haqving to defrost freezer every 3-7 days. The frig part of it goes up to 60 degrees. I would like to know how many cubic feet this frig is

Just measure the the inside of the fzr and frige and multiply length x width x hieght this will give you your cubic feet. (you will have to convert inches to feet) It sounds like your defrost timer, heating element in freezer, or the Hi temp sensor for the defrost cycle is bad more than likely the timer or element. good luck

Maytag Neptune washer shutting off in mid cycle

It must be the timer that is causing the control board or "computer", as you call it, to shut the cycle down, especially when the machine shuts off at almost exactly the same point in the cycle. The control board energizes the timer motor and monitors changes in the timer inputs. It will open the power supply line relay and shut off the machine if the timer inputs do not change within 5 minutes of continuously energizing the timer motor. It means the timer motor is stuck or the timer internal cam is broken at the point where the machine shuts off. Replace the timer (part #22002867) to fix the problem.

Disconnect power to the washer and remove the three screws securing the console's rear cover plate across the console's rear top edge.

The console has six locking feet that secure it to the top cover. Gently rock the top of the console forward then push the bottom of the console toward the back of the machine to release the locking feet from the slots on the top cover. Once the locking feet are released, remove the timer knob by pulling it off the console; lift the console then flip it forward onto the top cover to access the timer.

Disconnect the timer wiring harness then remove the timer mounting screw.

Lift the timer locking tab near the end cap and slide the timer toward the end cap to release the timer retaining tabs from the slots in the console. Lift the timer off the console then install the new timer.

Align the three tabs of the timer with the slots on the console then insert the tabs into the slots.

Lift the locking tab slightly then slide the timer back into position until the locking tab can engage with the slot provided in the console. Secure the timer with the mounting screw then reconnect the wiring harness.

Reinstall the console by lining up its six locking feet with the slots on the top cover. Insert the locking feet into the slots then rock back the console into position. Secure the console's rear cover plate across the console's rear top edge with three securing screws.
