Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

I had the same problem. The power supply board is bad and this is very common with this TV. I ordered a new power board from shopjimmy.com. The cost is $51.00 with shipping. Just open the back of the tv and you'll see the part number on the circuit board. It's easier to replace the whole board. You can also go on UTube and see a video on replacing the board. Very easy to do yourself. My tv hasn't had a problem since I replaced this board.

check and see if any capacitors are domed over.

Replace the power supply board. You can get the replacement power board from www.tvrepairworld.com

check D7 and small cap to the right(forgot # returned tv) in the power supply area.i found diode leaky and cap dry.Thats how i fixed the blinking red light.hope it works.

you can unplug the power cord and drench the power and after go ahead and plug in back the TV and try to start it

I bought two of these tv's and they worked fine,I hooked up a computer to both of them and blam smelt smoke in one and the other wont come on either. The computer takes them out. It is a common problem with this TV.
