SOURCE: oven trouble

I had this same problem with my range. It ended up being the thermostat that maintains the temperature in the range itself. This should help. The thermostat will usually have to be professionally replaced, it is too risky to be done by a novice so call a shop for help.

SOURCE: I saw sparks? or small flame on back wall behind fan inside oven

It sounds likely that the fan motor is faulty, more so if the oven is heating to some extent.
You should be able to see or hear if the fan is working or not
Hope this helps with your prob.

SOURCE: The blower fan comes on several minutes before the

Bad fan switch. It may also be called a fan limit switch. If your furnace is less than 5 years old, the switch is part of the circuit board and you will need to replace the board.

Hobart convection oven

You either have something hitting the convection blower wheel or the bearings in the convection motor are shot.

I have a hobart comercial convection oven. The oven will light 3 times but does not stay lit. there is no thermolcouple

The oven has a 3 try electronic spark control. It sounds like the flame sensor is not sensing the flame correctly and is locking out. I don't know if your model senses flame through the high voltage spark wire or if it has a separate flame sensor wire.

My guess would be a flame sense issue, post a model number when your time permits.

I have a Goodman 80% efficient furnace - the blower motor will not shut off unless I kill the power - when I power it up and call for heat it will fire up as it should - ventor motor comes on / Flame...

you could try check the AFC automatic fan control which brings the fan on temp rise and shuts off on temp fall, see if its clean on the back of it, check filters are clean try cleaning flame sencor , the afc inside the cover the temp dail turns back when cooling see if this sticking none of this will cost you, just time.

Majestic Electric Fireplace: Flame doesn't come on and fan is making alot of noise.

The flame doesn't come on, because the bulbs are probably burned out. As far as the fan noise is concerned, the fan probably needs cleaning and lubrication of the shaft from the blower motor. Keep in mind, whenever the blower is operated, it's taking in cool air at floor level, to heat it and send it back out via the fan. It sucks in dust, dirt, lint, etc while it's in operation.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

My hobart hgc-5 convection oven heats intermittenly. Heat goes on then off. I replaced the thermostat, ignition wire and ignition board. Still only heating intermittenly. What do I do?

I would replace the flame sense or clean it and make sure it is in the flame it will glow red you can see this if you remove the front and cover it is tough but can be done.also check to make sure it is not in a drafty location the air movement could blow the flame around and not hit the flame sense.it is just a metal rod with ceramic insulator.the flame is actually conductive.it will carry a small current. That is how the ign. module knows the flame is lit and dont just let gas pour in without being lit.
