Question about RCA Audio Players & Recorders
This is a component failure. A lot of pre amps use OPERATION AMP chips. Finding the issue involves a lot of time and troubleshooting with special equipment.

SOURCE: my old yamaha wont stop buzzing
HI SIR .THAT IS NOT BIG PROBLEM.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PRE HAVE THE FLL.1 PROPERLLY EARTHED(THE GROUND FROM YOUR AMP ALSO GOES TO THE PRE )2 ASK YOUR ELECTRONIC MECHENIC TO CHECK IF THER'S NO BROKEN GROUND ON THE BOARD INSIDE.

SOURCE: power amp outputs no sound
No one could determine the extent of the problem without placing hands and eyes on the unit.
Have you checked the Yellow Pages or online equivalent?

SOURCE: in need of a pre-amp
Hi, You will need to use another RCA monster cable to test where the buzz sound , if the buzz sound still comes on, that means the out put of the pre-amp needs to be replaced...
