Google your make and model of camera for the driver, if you use WinXP, you can access the camera's memory like an external media/storage source.

    as I mentioned, google your make and model of camera for the driver. once found, download and install when prompted (attach camera to computer via USB, turn the camera on to preview mode if available, wait for the computer to recognize the camera, and if it asks for the driver, point the wizard in the right direction). also to use the camera as a web cam, the camera should list that as an option or capability, if not, then go out and buy a web cam (a good, decent, and inexpensive one is around $20 at best buy).
