Power cycle both units. Remove mains plug from both for 5 minutes and reconnect. Make sure the television is set the HDMI Source to the Decoder.

First try a power cycle. Remove the wall plug for 5 minutes. Press and hold the power button for 2 minutes. Let go and plug the decoder back in.

If that didn't make it work, it's time to test the power supply. Take out your multimeter and test the power plug end for voltage. It is likely to be 12 volts DC. Power adapters can be sourced inexpensively.

Or send it back and get a new one under warranty.

The decoder must be activated using the cellphone by entering *120*6843*1# and then follow the menu. If you receive any of these onscreen notifications you will need to reactivate your decoder: 1.
