The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.
* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor

After getting the F30 error code and reading this solution, I removed the top cover of my washing machine to find that it was, indeed, mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser. My hard water had caused build-up that kept the plastic arm from moving freely. I cleaned it up and, voila, I'm doing laundry again. Thanks!
