Panasonic TXP50U30B tv No picture or sound when switched on. Green led at lower front centre flashes green then solid, try to use remote and light goes off. Prior to this when the tv worked the light flashed red then solid red, remote brought tv on and light turned green. Makes random clicking noises from main powerboard Any ideas please? Maybe a common fault

this is common issue with this model and through your troubleshooting is tied to y main board. blinking led on logic main in normal operation. when replacing y main always good idea to replace y upper and lowe buffer boards as they complete a circuit and sometimes replacing one without other could cause additional failure on remaining boards

Hi to all, My 42" Panasonic plasma have the same problem. It turned itself off and now red light flashes 7 times, than after short pause 7 times again. And so on. Any ideas what is wrong??

I had exactly the same problem When the TV was switched on all I could see was a flashing green light. After cheching the TV internals and not seeing a problem including the power supply unit which looked and checked normal. Here is what I did to get M TV working again.
Disconnect it from the power supply. Hold down all the buttons simultaneously i.e. the on/off, the volume, the programme, menu buttons, all of them simultaneously and Plug it into the power supply again.
Lo and behold My TV jumped back into life after an absence of about 4 weeks.
Try it yourself exactly as above.
