After Windows 10 update Samsung SCX 4828FN printer went from printing single side to double sided, how do I get it back to single?

To print a duplex page, follow these steps:

Go to Device and Printers. ...
Right click on the printer, then select Printer Preferences. ...
Below Double-Sided Printing select Long Edge or Short Edge depending on preference. ...
Click Apply and OK to save the changes.

check between the rollers there will be small bits of paper jammed in that is the reason.

go in youre ip address, log in as admin, chooce print tab and there is a print tab, there is a default options, and choose double printing off

Hi, Your printer have problem with drive Clutch. To match grease. You have to dismantle the clutch and clean them. This is typical defect of SCX 4838, 4824. Cheers !!! :)

Can't reset double sided printing to single side only as default

Exact same problem... took a couple of hours of fiddling but seems that to get it to stick you have to change the printer settings in windows rather than when you are actually printing a document. eg Control Panel > Printers > right click printer > Properties > (General tab) Printing Preferences > then for Double-Sided Printing select 'none' and press OK. Job done.

Samsung 4828fn wont print message - system error - cycle power

All SCX-4828 and SCX-4826 buyers should launch a class action lawsuit against Samsung. I have TWO identical SCX-4826 printers, purchased at the same time. BOTH developed "System Error, Cycle Power" errors within a few weeks of each other! I suspect this is a programmed "error", not that something is "worn out" but rather it is in the programming of this series of printers. In other words, I believe they are "designed" to break after a certain length of time (in my case, just over 2 years of use - how convenient for them, just out of an extended warranty). I called a Samsung repair shop and was told that it was a "Fuser" problem. How could 2 printers develop an identical problem within weeks of each other? Coincidence? I think not!

Check the device drivers. You can go to the list and locate the printer setup area. Do an update of the drivers and see f that fixes the problem.
