You did remember to turn it back on? Mine has a handle that detects when the tray is full and you flip it up to turn it off and down to turn it on. Good Luck

SOURCE: ice maker leaking into ice storage tray

please check the small hose that guide the water to the ice tray. see that it is in good condition and no cracks or damage what so ever. then look closely at the ice tray, there maybe an ice that would not fell. could have been stuck in there that is why every time water would flow, it would just flow anywhere.

tnx 4 using fixya,

SOURCE: ice maker leaking into ice storage tray

disreguard all the other fixyas, first if you still have ice buildup get your hair dryer and heat it up and melt it,then remove the front off the icemaker, you have a cube size dial, turn it down and it will reduce the amount of water that goes into the icemaker,if that does no work go on ebay and pickup a univeral icemaker for around $50,hope this helped you-mike

SOURCE: No water in automatic ice maker.

Do you get water at the front dispensor, if present? If not check the refrigerator water filter. If you have an RO system feeding filtered water to the fridge, check it's filter. Also there is a solenoid that lets water into the ice cube maker, have a professional check it to make sure its working correctly. Lastly I have had to replace the entire ice cube maker, sometimes they do fail. Replacements can be found fairly easy on the internet.

I bought a BLOMBERG Refrigerator model KQD1440X and it is suddenly giving me an error 8 on the display. Can I have an explanation on the error 8 and how do I solve it?

Water inlet valve is not working properly. either not letting water through the valve the first time and now it is sticking open and letting water over fill. Replace water inlet valve.

Deni (Denim?)model 5100. Where can I get a new speeder freeze canister for the 1 qt.?

I searched the web extensively, and all of the links to buy this item lead to Amazon.com, which says that the item is unavailable. The part that you need is: "Deni 5101 Speedee Freeze Canister for Models 5100, 5150 & 5400 Automatic Ice Cream and Yogurt Makers" I found a unit on eBay for you that is New (other) and selling for less than the Amazon price. Water keeps running and the ice maker isn't making ice

The ice maker will not make ice with the water running in contently this keeps the water temp to high. Turn machine off, cut water supply off to machine, remove water inlet valve, ether take valve apart and rebuild it or replace the water inlet valve. Reassemble in reverse order and machine should make ice.

I was told that my new refridgerator will come with an automatic ice maker. What does that mean?

These days, modern fridges come with automatic ice makers that are built into the fridge itself. The fridge automatically fills the ice holders with water that then freeze into cubes. You can then tip the ice onto a tray that is removable and then the fridge will automatically re-fill.

Our automatic ice maker will not quit dripping in the freezer. It keeps clogging the ice maker with icicles and large blocks of ice. Essentially, it keeps "freezing over." We have defrosted it...

if it keeps filling and overflowing you have a bad water valve on the back of the fridge.the part number is WR57X10027 and the valve is around 75 dollars.first thing lift the arm or shut off the ice maker so it won't leak anymore, you're missing a few letters off of the model number so when you call your parts store give them the full model number, open the fridge door, look up on the right hand side wall up near the ceiling and give them the model number to make sure you get the correct valve, shut off the water supply to the fridge, then have the new valve next to the old valve when you remove a water line from the old valve just connect it to the new valve,do this until everything is changed out and the new valve is in place, turn on the water supply and you can check the ice maker to make sure it doesn't overflow.you can manually start the ice maker by grabbing the plastic arms of the ice maker and pull them forwards slowly until the arms start to advance on their own, you'll hear the water valve fill the ice maker and then you can watch it fill to see if the water is filling it correctly and i'm sure you'll be fine with the new water valve installed

My ice maker on my GE pfs22miwcbb bottom freezer refrigerator stopped working. The filtered water dispenser works fine, but the ice maker is doing nothing. The power is on.

It's not uncommon for these to outright fail considering their harsh operating environment. However, I have seen issues with automatic ice makers where the eventual buildup of frost can jam the motor or gears. It may simply be stuck. If the device that ejects the ice cubes becomes jamed for any reason, it obviously will not fill with new water. I think your best bet at this point would be to defrost the freezer and see if that works. If not, then try removing the covers from the ice maker to see if there are any obvious signs of breakage.
