SOURCE: source picture changing by itself

It's interesting I unplugged everything and it sat for a few days. I plugged everything back in and it works like normal again. It's been fine for about 4 or 5 days now. I will try what you suggested if it messes up again. But just to be clear, did you mean to try to press the buttons on the TV repeatedly? or the remote buttons?

Thanks for the advice

SOURCE: mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

SOURCE: No TV "Select Source" Menu Option

Had the same problem and found on the back of the tv on the black box that the cable hooks to there is a plug at the top of that box on the left side came loose. If you slide that box to the right you can completely remove it from the tv. Reinstall it and make sure it's plugged in tight your tv setting should come back.

SOURCE: i hit source button-no tv

You will have changed the inout signal on the Tv to either HDMI input or EXT1 , or AVI. You need to keep pressing the source button until you reach TV again, or...press the TV button (depending on what tv you have) :)

Ecco TV 32 D-LED it just stuck on USB Mode, the source button is not working and i don't have a remote.Help

Hello,

If your Ecco TV 32 D-LED is stuck in USB mode and the source button is not working, and you don't have a remote, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Power cycle the TV: Unplug the TV from the power source and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the TV and resolve minor software glitches.
  2. Try using the buttons on the TV: Although you mentioned that the source button is not working, try pressing other buttons on the TV itself, such as the menu or volume buttons. Some TVs have different combinations of buttons that can act as a substitute for the source button. Refer to your TV's user manual if you're unsure about the button combinations.
  3. Check for a physical source button: Look closely at the TV's physical buttons to see if there is a dedicated source button or a button with an icon indicating input selection. Pressing this button should allow you to cycle through different input sources, including USB mode.
  4. Borrow a universal remote: If you don't have the original remote for your TV, try borrowing a universal remote from a friend or neighbor. Universal remotes can often be programmed to work with different TV models. Check the remote's instructions or manual on how to program it for your TV brand and model.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, it's recommended to reach out to the manufacturer's customer support. They can provide you with specific information tailored to your TV model and help troubleshoot the issue further.

Can't change the menu from the clock set up to other functions such as channel scanning.

Are all of the sub-menus besides the clock unavailable or just the ones related to OTA (RF) signals? If it's just the OTA menus that are missing, change the source/input to TV. On all of my TVs, the channel scan option and related functions are blocked if the current input is not TV.

Changing the input/source depends on the TV. First make sure that an antenna or cable source on an RF (RG-59/RG-60 cable) is connected to the set. Next look for a Source or Input button on the original remote. Press this button. On some models, you navigate through the menu by pressing the Input/Source button repeatedly and then press OK to change the input. On other sets, you navigate with the arrow keys and then press OK. Some TVs may switch to the new source after a few seconds without any button presses; they don't need the OK button to be pressed. On a universal remote, you may find an Input/Source button but the button may not work with some codes for the manufacturer. (This can be frustrating since the basic functions (power, channel up/down, volume up/down) work; try a different code.)

Some TVs will also have an Input/Source button on the TV. This will work like the button on the remote. Use the Select button for the OK button. A few TVs have the option inside the on-screen menu. Press Menu and then look for a source option in a Tools or Setup menu.

I hope this helps. I have never had a TV where only the Clock menu is available. If that is the case with your TV, I don't know of a solution.

My sharp aquos LC-32LE7OOUN will not show CC

I think your model number is LC-32LE700UN. What is your video source? The CC button will only work for captions from the TV source (RF) OTA or cable without a converter box. For video from any set-top box (for example, an HDMI source), you'll have to enable the captions at that device. Depending on the device, you may have to navigate through the menus, rather than use quick CC button. On my IPTV box, I can enable the closed captions by entering the setup menu using a pass code provided by the ISP. Then I have to enter the Audio section of the Hardware menu. On one satellite system some years ago, I had to enable captions for both TVs at their primary receiver. This let their hearing-impaired uncle watch TV when he visited and watched a second TV.

Sharp has the documentation for the LC-32LE700UN here: https://www.sharpusa.com/Support/ProductDetail.aspx?model=LC-32LE700UN . The current link to the manual is http://files.sharpusa.com/Downloads/ForHome/HomeEntertainment/LCDTVs/Manuals/tel_man_LC32LE700UN.pdf .

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the TV source for additional information about the Closed Caption for that source.

How to repair a samsung Led tv model ua 50f 5500 amxxs. When I switch ON. it just show the flashing SMART Logo.It will not go to the tv channel.

If the TV displays the menu or Smart Hub when you press the button on the remote - the TV is on, it's just displaying a black screen. Change the Source on the TV to another input. See the page on Samsung TV has No Picture for more troubleshooting steps.

Depending on the TV, there will be a Jog Controller or TV Control Stick that will allow you to access the TV menu and change the source. Use the control on the TV to select an option - toggle it left or right to see if anything appears on the TV.
If the control menu appears on the screen, the TV is on but not displaying any input. Check the connections or change the input source on the TV. If the controller button works on the TV, but not the remote, check the batteries in the remote control.

Unplug the TV from the power source and leave it for a minute or two. Reconnect the power cable directly to the wall rather than a surge protector. If the TV Standby light appears - the TV is receiving power. If the Standby light still doesn't appear, please get in touch to organise a service.

I Am hooked to antennae on RCA TRU FLAT TV & when I go to the TV menue, it assumes that I am on cable a. This isn't so We are on antennae.> Howcan I get the menue to recognise that we are infact on...

You didn't provide your TV model. However, you should be able to switch from cable to antenna with the Menu. Make sure the Input source is the TV, press Input repeatedly to get that setting.

1) Menu > Setup Menu > Auto Channel Search. Use the up/down arrows to select the appropriate line. Use the right or left arrow to change the source, then press the down arrow to highlight Start Search. Then press the right arrow or OK.

2) Press Menu and use the Ch+/Ch- buttons to cycle through a list in the menu, highlight Setup and press OK to select. Then use the Vol+/Vol- buttons to choose TV/CATV. Again press OK. Go down to Auto Search and press Vol+.

If there is a Menu button on the TV, you can do this without a remote.

I hope this helps.

(the above work on two different RCA TV made by TTE Corp from 2004 through early 2010. Check the manual for the specifics on your TV. If you provide me the model, I can look in my stacks for the exact manual.)
