Setting clocks is usually a simple task or almost impossible without a manual. Directions are generally specific to the brand and often to the model of the device. I have a radio alarm clock that I always have to read the directions again simply to set it and then read it again to cancel the alarm. You well may need the user manual. Try googling the brand and model plus the word user manual. If you include posting such in a query, you stand a better chance of getting a more helpful answer. There even might be a YouTube video showing you how to set the clock. Here is how to set a Sony radio alarm clock, for example:

  • On mine, I need to hold the timer/clock button in until it flashes '24 Hr'. Either press the button once more to change, or type in the time on the pad and click on the button again to finish.

Need to know how to set clock in 06 chevy malibu

the car has at least 3 "entertainment" packages, which go with the interior level of the car. look in your manual and figure out which package radio and clock your car came with, then repost your question telling us which package your car has and then we will know which set of instructions you need to set your clock. But wait, while you are figuring out which system you have, the instructions to set the clock will be right there and you can do it yourself. Eureka moment.

replacement manuals can be had on ebay for a couple bucks

Need operating instruction

I dont know where to find an instructions booklet but I can help with setting the time/date:
To set the time and date (you have to do them both together):
  • First press and hold the 'CLOCK' button until it beeps then let go.
  • You will then be required to select the year by scrolling up or down with the 'TIME SET' rocker switch on the right hand side.
  • Once you have the right time, press the 'ENTER' button, to the right of the rocker switch once.
  • You will then be required to select the the month. Do this by once again using the 'TIME SET' rocker switch and then pressing 'ENTER'.
  • You will need to repeat this to select the date (day).
  • You then use this same process to select the time, starting with the hour and then the minute.
  • After you have finnished selecting the minute, press the 'ENTER' button once and then the set time, with the day in the top left corner will be shown. You do not need to press anything else. Your clock is now set.
REMEMBER to press the 'ENTER' button after selecting each thing to move you on to the next thing to set.

TIP; Beside the 'CLOCK' button there is a button which says 'D.S.T SUMMER T'. This is the button which automatically switches your clock from british summer time to winter time and back again. It means that you do not need to reset your clock every time. Make sure that it is in the right setting when you set the clock otherwise it could get confusing. You will know if it is on british summer time because a small sun with a clock face appears in the top right corner of the screen.

Good Luck x

On the back of the clock - left hand side if you've laid it down on it's face - is a row of switches. You need to start the time set-up with the clock having been unplugged so there's no time set in the memory5.gif.
Now, to those switches: The first (from the left) is DST = Daylight Savings Time - right now you'de set this to "ON."
The second switch is Time Zone: PST, MST, CST, EST (Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern). Set the switch to the time zone you are in.
The third is just the brightness.

Now, to set the time itself:
1 - Turn the clock face back up to where you can see it.
2 - LOOK AT THE CLOCK - LOL! This is an atomically set clock - you shouldn't need to set the time. The atomic clock bounces off of satellites all around the world. There is literally little to no "dead zones" for the clock, so you should never have to set your clock - just set it up like I state at the beginning.

Good Luck!
