I have not found a manual online for the Eddie Bauer Radio Controlled Weather Station 802R25 yet.
Therefore, I suggest you contact the Eddie Bauer company directly and ask about the availability of an owner's manual / instructions for that model of weather station. See the Contact Us information for Eddie Bauer here: http://www.eddiebauer.com/custserv/customer-service-landing.jsp
The Customer Service contact information will be found in a far right column.
Note: Even if that model is no longer being manufactured, ask if a manual for that model is in the company Archives and ask if a copy can be scanned as a PDF document (Adobe Acrobat Reader software - free) for you. There may be a cost for a manual.
The WS-1000-WiFi weather station consists of a display console (receiver), an all in one sensor ... Locate the battery door on the bottom of the sensor array.
In some of these weather stations, you have to install the batteries in the transmitter first and then the weather station within a certain time limit. Also, the weather station must be within a specified distance from the transmitter when replacing the batteries.
If you look on the weather station, there should be a make and model number. If you have that, you can visit the website (if there is one) and download an instruction booklet for your model.
According to the manufacturer, that error code is "The main unit has lost the signal to that particular sensor and the whole unit needs to be reset and the memory needs to be cleared. Please follow the user guide to clear the memory and refer to question 24 for instructions entitled "how to re-calibrate my weather station with my sensors".
I have three of these WS-916OU-IT units. After a few years, the outside sensor just fails. You will get dashes and a "TR" low battery signal, even if the batteries are good
just buy another whole weather station (short money) and set both the old and new weather station unit to receive from the single new outdoor sensor.
To do this - just follow the procedure for a single sensor - that is - put the batteries in the new sensor - then within 30 seconds - put the batteries in all the weather stations - they will all pick up the same outdoor sensor.
I now have three units running off of one outdoor sensor.
Seems a bit silly, but it works.
This problem could arise due to various reasons 1)Replace the batteries in remote sensors When the batteries are properly installed, the remote weather sensor will resume sending signals to the main unit.To enforce an immediate remote signals search, press and hold DOWN on the main unit.
2)Remote thermo-hygrometer sensor could be weak in sending the signal about weather Forecast.Test it properly.
3)Reset the unit and check
