"Z225, Z245, Z425, Z445 and Z465 Models: When the machine needs to be moved without starting the engine, use the bypass valves:
Pull right bypass control rod (A) on outside of frame toward rear of machine and lower into detent slot (B) to engage bypass valve. Repeat on left bypass control rod on left side of machine."
Bypass rods are located approximately half way between rear of wheel and end of frame.
the cable splits in two, one going to the carburetor other going to the engine side, so either the splitting point has come unhooked, or cable is broken by the throttle point, or cable unhooked at engine mounting point as it`s attached to a pulley wheel. My bet is on the cable splitting pont, buy a decent cable.
Push the end of the new throttle cable onto the linkage on the carburetor. In our C10 example, this is held in place with a clip, but on some other vehicles, the end of the throttle cable is capped and simply slides through a slot on the linkage. Place the throttle cable clip over the linkage. You may need to pry the end up with a flat-head screwdriver to get it in place.
Secure the throttle cable in the throttle cable bracket located on the intake manifold. This, too, should clip into place.
Route the cable into the cab, being sure to keep it kink-free.
Loop the end onto the end of the accelerator pedal inside of the linkage hole. In other vehicles, there may be a clip on the accelerator pedal that holds the throttle cable in place, which is also easy to do with your bare hands.
