We have a Norstar phone system AND I am programming from an M7310 and am able to change the date and time, but once I do, the time stays "Stuck" on what I've changed it to. How can I resolve this?

Sounds like there might be a software issue.Did you try power cycling the system for about 10-15 sec. to see if that corrects itsself?
Also when you enter programming, what does the first sreen say a. configuration or terminals and sets?

How do I change the time on the display on my NorStar M7310 phone?

Changing the time on a Norstar system must be done using a display phone. Using a M7310, M7324, or T7316 the right 2 buttons under the display are "NEXT" and "SHOW" respectively.

1.- To enter programming mode press "FEATURE" and "* * 2 6 6 3 4 4"
2.- Enter password (default = 266344) - display should read "Terminals & Sets"
3.- Press "NEXT"(bottom right arrow) 5 times - display should read "Time and Date"
4.- Press "SHOW" (top right arrow)- display should read "Hour:___"
5.- Press softkey "CHANGE"
6.- Enter hour - display should read "AM OK or Change"
7.- Select AM or PM
8.- Press "NEXT"(bottom right arrow) - display should read "Minutes:___"
9.- Press softkey "CHANGE"
10.- Enter minutes
11.- Press "NEXT"(bottom right arrow) - display should read "Year:___"

I have the Norstar M7310 and can't change the time. In programming feature, it asks for a password. Nothing will type in the area once I reach that part. What am I doing wrong?

Athough the digits don't appear on the screen they are being entered into the system.the 2 passwords you can use are 266344 (config) and 23646 (admin).

Norstar 7324 time change

Programming should be done from the M7310, M7324 or the T7316E set. Administration access code: Feature * * 266344 which also is Feature * * config.
If asked for a password enter 23646.

When in programming2.gif just press the next button(lower right arrow) until you see what you want to change. Then press show ( top right arrow) ,then change if you want to change it. If you pass it, just press back (lower left)
Example: To change the Time & Date Press next until you see Time & Date. Then show Then change Then change again, change it if you need to, Then next again until you see what you need to change. For example; only the hour needs to be changed for day light savings time. Just press next until you come to the Hour. Then Change it. Then press release RLs when your done.

Norstar m7310 phone

Rushy: I assume you have a KSU which controls the entire system. The KSU is cabled to each line number provided by your local phone company. Once you have this line established it now makes contact with your phone set via dedicated cabling to each telephone set.. With all this hardware in place you can now program the line keys on each set for either one touch dialing or line access for your dial tone. Program guides can be aquired through GOOGLE by entering " Norstar m7310 program guide".Thank You. Jerry
