Cooling capacity of ICEU220HA1

Do you mean the Ice-o-Matic ICEU220HA1? I can't find a listing for this model specifically. However, I found data on the ICEU220 on the manufacturer's support site: . Using the drop-down menu on the left and then pressing search, I found the manual and service documents here: . The direct link to the manual is . The manual indicates that the A means that this is an air-cooled ice maker and the 1 indicates the design version.

The specifications sheet has more information. The ICEU220A (air-cooled) uses about 4,609 BTU per hour (depending on the air and water temperature). It uses 8.8 kWH of power to make 100 pounds of ice. The specifications sheet is available here: . Scroll down the left column to find the ICEU220HA. The direct link to the specifications sheet is currently , according to my browser history.

I hope this helps.

Whirlpool bottom freezer ice maker will only make ice if I pull and then replace the ice container, why?

The ice maker works off a timer that controls the discharge of ice, water fill, etc. Right before the tray discharges ice it is heated slightly so the ice is just slippery enough to discharge the ice. Unfortunately, now and then (for us) a chunk of ice remains in the tray. This chunk prevents the blades from rotating and eventually you have a mass of new ice with the blades in the wrong position. The blades have to be in a certain position for the heater to kick in. You are stuck with cracking up the ice stuck in the tray to get the blades to rotate again. We have an Electrolux ice maker but this problem occurs periodically. The root of the problem is it's failure to heat up the ice tray adequately to discharge ALL the ice. One thing to remember is that next time this happens you have to manually break up the ice in the tray and push the timer advance button until the 2 set of blades are fully closed (hidden) and at 90 degrees. From that point on at least the ice maker can start making more ice.

What can i do or do i have to bring it in for repairs?

There are three easy things to look for. First in the center of the ice grid there is a plunger rod that pushes the ice out. Need to make sure that is all the way in on start up. Second the ice curtain has a tab on the top right that has to be behind a metal switch tab that sticks through the side on the unit. Third on some units right in front of the water trough is a thin metal rod, that is actually the bin thermostat. If there is any ice laying on top of that rod it will shut the unit off at a full bin.

KitchenAid ice dispenser tray is dry - not working

Put some water in the ice mold is what I would try. wait and see if the ice maker harvest a batch. If it does drop a batch but no more then the water valve is probably shot. The ice maker itself controls the water. It does this by filling the ice mold for 7.5 seconds. Here is your Ice maker repair manual and some repair photos along with a pictorial which snows how to check the water valve.

My iceomatic ice machine is not producing ice. There is ice frozen to the grate and water is not running

Could be a bad water solenoid. Could also be because it needs to be cleaned. If there is ice stuck to the evaporator, the hot gas bypass is not working. Try cleaning the unit first.
