The question makes zero sense. SORRY !
why not tell the story fully,
did it work ever before ( you used the word FIX) means repair.
or never worked? for you.
or lost Passwords end to end,.
using wifi? or only greater better Ethernet.

good luck, routers are complex, and how you want to use it only matters first, and not TOLD.

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.

I'm pretty sure that downgrading the firmware to 1.0.3 will work. I had been running at this level for quite some time and for some reason I decided to upgrade to the latest version which started the problems for me. I am downgrading to this now and I expect better results. All of the firmware versions are available at http://www.dlink.com/products/support.asp?pid=470&sec=0. You pick the right hardware revision. PLEASE NOTE: Save off/remember your settings as when you change the firmware it resets all of them back to system defaults.

Reset the router first, press the reset pinhole on the back for 10 seconds using a paper clip, don't press it too much or it will mess up the settings of the router. then try to access again the configuration page.

you have to change your channelk type in your wi fi router.
For that access your router with following link
http://192.168.1.1 or
http://192.168.0.1
if you have belkin router
http://192.168.2.1
type user name as "admin" and password is "admin" or blank or "password"
then go to wi fi ->advanced setup chang channel type 4 ,6 ,11
change chanel type 1 by 1 and check signal strength.
everyt time save settings and restart both computer and router after save settings.
Thanks for using fixya.
Please rate this solution if it helps.

Can you get a pc to connect to the internet? If you can, what IP address does HUGHES assign? If it is in the range of 192.168.0.X then change the DEFAULT GATEWAY address of the router to something like 192.168.10.1 (out of the box it should be set to 192.168.0.1)
