    NO PC told.
it is a bad mouse or lost receiver
batteries backwards. (plus end to rear )
new batteries read 1v not 1.5 and are bad.
the moust on/off slide to "ON" next.
    RTM yet, read the manual
    is the USB receiver missing?
in the mouse battery compartment is the
    USB nano receiver, lose that?

    https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articl...

try all usb ports on the unstated PC?
    for the nano.

It sounds like the mouse broke when you dropped it. You might want to check the warranty.

SOURCE: logitech wireless optical mouse won't move computer cursor

Sometimes on wireless mice the contacts get warped or bent, so when you move it or set it down the batteries are not making full contact on both ends and the mouse loses power.

You can try adjusting the contacts or using a conductive material to make the contact (like a staple or paperclip), but you're probably better off spending the $10 or $20 to get a new mouse.

The red light on the top of my mouse is staying red and will not work. I have a battery operated mouse that came with a wireless keyboard as well, i have tried many sets of new batteries, and can not get...

When you put in the new batteries, you may need to press the "Sync" button on the wireless receiver. If it does not have one, I suggest contacting Logitech to help resolve the issue.

You need to get a Logitech Unifying receiver. With this you will be able to use up to 6 devices. Here's a description of it: http://www.logitech.com/en-hk/349/6072?WT.ac=ps'6277

But m310 says drivers wont install

Try installing the drivers for your hardware prior to plugging in the device. You should be able to do this with the CD you received with the product. If you do not have a CD or the CD did not work properly, visit the following support website for the Logitech Wireless Mouse M310 to download appropriate drivers and software:

Not working

If there any lights on the mouse when you put new batteries in the mouse? If yes then you can still fix it. On the usb controller of you mouse it will have a button on it. Press that button first and then press the button under the mouse. Repeat a few times and see if mouse responses. Then if nothing happens, unplug the usb controller and place it into another port. Repeat the above process and see what happens. Should work fine.
