Have to reset or it is reset to factory settings?

Has anyone been playing with this TV, i.e. repairing it, replacing boards etc?

I believe - do not know it for a fact - that Samsung has this protection in palce which identifies the boards in a TV and once you switch a board the TV needs to go through a service re-administration to remember its current configuration.

There's no explanation of why would a TV need to do that other than to restrict users to Samsung service centers only.

Again I do not know this for a fact, but I have seen other Samsung TVs that do exactly the same and they start doing it upon replacing boards on them. It's a simple logic.

SOURCE: I have a new 32" flat screen Samsung TV. I want

I suppose so, as the remotes work on my samsung 32 in and my 40in. The buttons on he two remotes are the same, just the design of the case is different. Take your remote to the store and ask the clerk to try it just to be sure. The only downside to the two remotes working the same is that I am watching Tv on the 32, and my wife is watching on the 40 in the sun Room behind me and she sometimes changes my channel by accident?

I would like to know on how to reset a 32 inch chinese made samsung plasma tv from burning mode

There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Where is the reset button on LG 32lk450

Instructions

1) Press and hold down the "Power" button on the Samsung BD- P1500 Blu-Ray player.

2) Verify that there are no discs inside the Blu-Ray player.

3) Press the "Search/Skip" button for 5-10 seconds until you see it restore itself to its default factory settings.

A menu should appear on the screen to confirm that you have reset the BD-P1500 Blu-Ray player.

Hope this solves your issue :-)

How do I reset my tv to factory settings. samsung 32 inch LA32R81WDx/xSA

On a different Samsung TV, there is a Picture Reset in the Picture Menu on the OSD. (It's at the bottom of the list.) Similarly the sound reset is in the Sound menu. There is no global reset. (If your Samsung TV's OSD menus are different try under the Support menu.)

I hope this helps.

Red color is completely gone out of the LCD flat screen

You can try performing a factory reset of the TV. Go into the service menu (Press, then release the INPUT button on the remote, then key in 2580). Scroll down to "Other Settings", then go to "EEPROM Init", then press enter, select YES and press enter. This will reset the TV to the factory defaults. Good luck!

Turn the TV off, Press in sequence... Mute-1-8-2-Power. A service menu will pop up. scroll to reset. This will reset the TV back to factory. This should clear up that bug.
