Vulcan (Bonaire) controller has room temperature showing as Lo rather than the temperature. The heating is working but I have no idea what the room temperature is and whether I should keep running it?

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. I would first try getting the a/c system recharged. It can be a number of things, but having the system pressure checked is the first thing to check.
