SOURCE: Red power light is unlit, TV is unresponsive

This has most probably blown an internal fuse in the power supply. Most have a surge protection type fuse. It is best to have a repair engineer have a look at it as the fuses are specially rated for safety.

SOURCE: Lg tv, on the power input side of the led strips that whole SECTION went out. The power supply controls those/built in Tcon. Would the power supply cause this? The other side of the strips works.

The LED driver or the led strip has failed. Some LED drivers are on the main board, others on the power supply board. You can get parts from here:

It goes to the panel LED lamps, if its shutting down when you plug that in you have some bad lamps that would need to be replaced

I have purchased a power supply led board and a main board board for my Samsung Tv and that didn't help. The light flicker on then go back off

Did you replace the LED light strips? You have a bad connection on the LED light strips or one LED itself is going bad.

TV flickers then goes off and on and flickers again then goes off and on

It sounds like this can be a power supply issue. Try plugging the TV directly into the wall and if the problem remains, I recommend getting the power supply checked. Unfortuanlly on this one there is no way around this.

let me know if i can be of any help!

Samsung picture flickers

Pull the back off the tv. Look at the power supply. Find jumper designated JP854 on power supply. Take a pair of wire snips and cut that jumper out of the circuit. Put the tv back together. That's it.

This is a common Power Supply / Backlight Inverter Board issue. If you open up your TV you will see a long white board that is on the right side of your TV. You have to replace that board to get this issue fixed. You can find the board here BN44 00264B Samsung Power Supply Backlight Inverter

I have a Sony Bravia XBR 46". It is 18 months old. The left 20% of the picture is fine, but the right 80% flickers in horizontal bands. Pushing back lightly on the upper right corner of the bezel and...

Please make sure that the connections are secure.

If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.

Please try connecting the TV to a different wall outlet and check if that helps.

Samsung LN-S4051D goes on and off by itself. Repeatedly.

1 Bad inverter circuit (used for back lighting the LCD panel)

2 Bad secondary power supply too the inverter circuits

Especially if its a switch mode power supply connected to twin phase inverters. This problem almost always happens under that particular engineering scheme. Switch mode power supply's are horrible at sustaining high voltage CCFL back lights.

Your tv needs professional servicing!

Samsung TV flickering

This is an unusual failure of a non obvious part in the power supply putting noise into the circuitry of the TV.
you either need a competant tech to work on it or if you are good at connecting up cabling just swap out all the guts.
