Bose is proprietary. You need to either order it from them or Get a meter or continuity tester and write down the pinouts and make your own.

Did you find a solution? Dunno if it's much help, but I just today picked up some 501s - Series I I think - ugly heavy brown material grilles - but with a manual! No fuses in these, but booklet recommends installing your own in-line fuse holders (!?). Specifies a BUSS AGC-3 fuse for amps under 50wpc; or a MDL-2 fuse for amps over 50 wpc. Can be placed is series with either or the two signal wires. Very strange.... Robin

Found on Google Search: "bose 901 internal wiring" You must first identify which series you have. The first two series were acoustic suspension, and used nine 8 ohm drivers in a series/paralel configuration. Series III through VI used nine .9 ohm drivers all wired in series. Series III and IV had an additional terminal for use only with the Bose Spacial Control Receiver. Series III through VI are easy to identify, as there are three ports sticking out the back of each enclose. The 1st two series have no ports.

Bose 901s series 1-6 are all wired in the same way. that is nine one ohm full range drivers wired in series to produce around 8 or 9 ohms. No way it can be a short, think of the old christmas lights that were wired in series , one light went out, they all went out. I would check the wiring first to make sure no loose connections exist. The only way to access the wiring is to remove each driver from the cabinet. If all wires are intact, You may have a damaged driver. A simple test with a ohm meter will tell you. set to lowest ohm setting, each driver should read 1 ohm. If your speakers dont have the air tubes in back, you have series1 or 2 removing the drivers will not affect the vaccum, just replace the gasket material around the drivers.

Bose 901 speakers the wiring inside

- Bose 901 Series I and II speakers have 8 Ohm impedance each.
- A row of 3 speakers in series gives you 24 Ohm.
- 3 parallel rows gives you finally 8 Ohm.

Front with 8 speakers (view from the rear):
(1) (3) (5) (7)
(2) (4) (6) (8)

Rear speaker is number (9)

Row 1: -(1)+ -(3)+ -(7)+
Row 2: -(5)+ -(9)+ -(2)+
Row 3: -(8)+ -(6)+ -(4)+
