Did you put it back exactly like it was before? Are you sure all connections sit ok?
Were you safe with E.S.D. (Electro Static Discharge).
Because handeling with bare hands could damage any electronic chip.

The BIOS password is removed by the BIOS configuration, you need the BIOS password to get into the BIOS configuration. But if you do not have the BIOS password then you need to construct this dongle device.
TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE
You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

Wire the pins as follows :-1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15
Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password.

On my proform 680LTwhen I put the key in I get an FF display and nothing works

You must to the following:

Adjust the Sensor Reed, or optical sensor. by 1/8" or 3mms if see the diagram.

If after adjustment the problem persist. You must Test or measure the voltage for +5vdc to I.C.( EPROM, ROM, etc) , coming up from the Lower Board( Main Controller Motor Board).

Re-connect the flexible cord between Upper Board(Display) VS. Lower Board(Main Controller Motor Board) .
After you did that the Display Board is faulty or Main Controller Motor Board is faulty Replace.

Of course try to use the Dvoltmeter. very important.

sincerely.

Fitnex t60 display says prg bad, what does that mean and how can i repair it

1) You must test first the power supply for +5DC for I.Circuit( Including EPROM, ROM, etc)
2) Test the flexible cable between KeyPanel and display board, and clean.
3) Chechk the connector between Display Board with the lower board(Main Controller Motor)for loose connection, loose wire.
4) Test the transformer controller supplying the 12VCA, to the power supply at the Main Controller Board since this supply the +5vd to the Display Board.
Finally you must have Strong Conclusion if the problem is 1)Display Board faulty, 2) Power supply Faulty, 3) Transformer Controller Faulty 4) Main Controller Board Faulty.

For All test you must use Dvoltmeter.

sincerely.

Hi I have problem with my photocopaier. Sharp ARM236. It shows Code: U2-40

U2-04 EPROM error
U2-11 Main counter error
U2-12 EPROM error

As you can see there are many U2 error codes. Needless to say, find your code and the replace the bad part. The battery is on the main board. The EPROM is on the main board.
If you find your code, replace the part and error still remains -- replace main board.

All the lights are lit up on this printer. Have installed a new toner cartridge and still can't get anything to work. When turned on, there is no noise at all coming from printer. Shouldn't there be a...

When all the lights come on when you power the printer it usually means there is a problem with ram or the eprom will not initialise. Remove any additional ram and see if that cures it. If not then the main circuit board will need to be replaced. However if you can get into download mode (unlikely) then try and update the firmware.

I can't access dsm reset through fishfinder menu, it keeps saying no data source and I can't scroll down!

Check that there is power available at the DSM. Then verify that the DSM connector cable is correctly connected between the DSM and the C120. Finally, be sure that you have the most recent software version installed ( V 4.29). If all of that fails to bring back the DSM, try a factory reset. You accomplish this by holding down the first softkey while powering up the display. Hold the softkey until the reset countdown ends and the display begins to reboot. Be aware that a factory reset will delete any waypoints, routes, etc. so be sure to back upp anything important.

XEROX WORKCENTRE M20 WHEN POWERING UP MACHINE IT WILL NOT COME OUT OF WARM UP MODE. FUSER IS HOT. MACHINE DISPLAY WILL SAY WARMING UP, MACHINE WILL CYCLE, SCANNER WILL MOVE , PRINTING WILL APPEAR ON...

what you want to do is this, turn the machine off. Remove the back cover. Then on the main board you should see a memory stick or 2 depending on the model.
Remove the memory sticks, then power up the machine with them out. Let it come to ready, then re install the memory sticks and power the machine back up to remove any software corruption.

is the switch ok? Clean your Motherboard for dust too. CORRUPTED BIOS Reprogramming the BIOS depends on your motherboard Model. It should correspond to your BIOS Model. Download the Motherboard's BIOS file usually in a Zip file then the contents are .bin files. Then use the BIOS manufacturer's EPROM Programming tool. Which usually comes with a user manual or guide on how to's. Just follow its examples.
