If you previously set up the Samsung tool... you can have it show its last known location(s).

SOURCE: MY D500 SAMSUNG PHONE STOLEN
Hi there
Call your service provider and tell them to black-list the phone, they will then ask you for the serial number on your phone which you can find at the back of your phone (but since it has been stolen you will not be able to see the back of your phone), so then look at the phones box and you will find the serial number there, and they will black list the phone which means the phone will not be able to be used. If you do not have the box that the phone came in, tell them your cell-phone number and they will send a SMS which will automatically black-list the phone. Please remember to give me a good rating on my profile.
Kind regards
Dustin Ellse

SOURCE: can it be possible to track stolen laptop location
There is no way on earth to track your laptop unless you had installed some software that would tell were is it once it's on-line such as "ADEONA" which by the way it's open source. I'm sorry to say but next time you buy one you could protect yourself by installing this kind of solutions. Remember that the worst enemy for a computer is it's user.

SOURCE: Hi. My Nokia 3110c has been stolen yesterday.
Unfortunately there is no way at the current time to track a phone. People are always coming in trying to track them. The best way would be filing a police report. For future use though, downloading a program like family map or some kind of gps where you can view the lines on your account would be a good feature to have to be able to track it.

Yes.
But You have to give that IMEI to the Samsung gallery and tell them that it has stolen. They will surely help you.
Goodluck :)

SOURCE: how do I track my stolen Samsung galaxy S4 with its imei number
you can go to this link: http://www.trackimei.com/ and put your IMEI number in there you might be able to find out
or If you were using and Android based phone, you would have enabled "Find my mobile" in settings>device>security, GPS must also be on
If it was an Apple, there is "Find my phone" after you login to iCloud
If you didn't register to and enable some sort of Anti-Theft service or have it insured, you are at a loss.
Even with an IMEI, Police can only track the phone if they were physically looking for it and checking the number on them. This is the only way the IMEI is used... physical checking
Contact your service provider to report your phone stolen, so you don't end up getting billed if the lost phone is being used by someone. Ask for required paperwork of your phone/contract and report it to the police, who will put out an APB for it
