SOURCE: t50 stapler gun it worked for about 15

The spring in the magazine is not stiff enough to feed the staples as fast as the spring pushes the driver forward. This is a design flaw and the ONLY thing that has worked for me so far is to put 1 & 1/3 sticks of staples into the gun. This puts more pressure on the spring in the magazine and forces the column to feed faster. It's only good for about 10 - 15 shots, but it's better than nothing. I am currently seeking a more rigid spring that will fit around the rod to fix this problem. Will post as soon as I have a more permanent solution.

SOURCE: staples are stuck inside the stapler and will not come out

Typically you do not open these up.
Makes it difficult to remove stuck or wrong staples.
I have had good luck removing the staple ram rod and rapping firmly on the **** of the stapler against a wooden table. The idea is jolting the stuck staples into reverse out the way they went in. Tedious process but usually works. Removing the jammed staples in the nose at the striker plate requires using needle nose pliers and a sharp awl or small screw driver used on very small screws.
My T50 Arrow stapler is over 20 years old.
Still works great. Sometimes I slide in the wrong size staples by mistake. The process above usually works.
Good luck!

I disassembled my t50 PBM stapler apart, too far,I need complete disassembly and reassembly inst. Most things can be found somewhere - but where?

Hello John. When it comes to finding specific disassembly and reassembly instructions for a T50 PBM stapler, it can be challenging to find a comprehensive guide. However, there are a few resources you can explore to help with the process: 1. Manufacturer's Website: Check the manufacturer's website for the T50 PBM stapler. They might have instruction manuals, guides, or videos available for download or viewing. Look for a support section or a customer service contact to inquire about the availability of detailed disassembly and reassembly instructions. 2. Online User Forums and Communities: Look for online forums or communities where fellow stapler enthusiasts or DIY enthusiasts discuss stapler repairs and modifications. Websites like Reddit, DIY forums, or specialized stapler forums might have helpful threads or users willing to share their knowledge and experiences with disassembling and reassembling the T50 PBM stapler. 3. YouTube Tutorials: Search for video tutorials on YouTube that demonstrate the disassembly and reassembly of the T50 PBM stapler. Visual instructions can be particularly helpful in guiding you through the process. Although finding a specific tutorial for your exact stapler model may be challenging, general tutorials for T50 or similar stapler models may still provide some insights.

4. Contact the Manufacturer: If you're unable to find specific instructions or resources, consider reaching out to the manufacturer directly. Contact their customer service or support department and inquire about disassembly and reassembly instructions for the T50 PBM stapler. They may be able to provide guidance or direct you to appropriate resources. Remember to exercise caution when disassembling and reassembling the stapler. Take pictures or make notes as you disassemble it to help with reassembly. Be mindful of small parts, springs, and their orientation. If you're uncertain about any step or encounter difficulties, it's best to seek professional assistance or consult a qualified repair technician to avoid any damage to the stapler.

What Refills should I use for the pop 2000 stapler gun

The ARROW #506 T50 staples work perfectly. I've used both 3/8 and 9/16 sizes. They are on Amazon at

Craftsman 68514

The replacement pack for this gun say the staples are compatible with "Craftsman 68514 and 68517; Arrow Brand T50 Staplers T50 and T55; and Stanley/Bostitch TR110 and BT110 staple guns", so I assume they are also backwards compatible. That's just an assumption though.

The info on the gun says it will shoot many different staples, but it will only take 3/8 staples and I need to use 1/2 staples to do the job.

The T50P stapler uses T50 staples of various lengths, including 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. Is it possible that the 1/2 inch staples you are trying to use are not T50? All T50 staples are the same width and should fit your stapler. There are several other widths of staples that are not T50, although T50 is the most common.

I need to put in new staples. How do I do it?

This stapler does not swing open like a paper stapler. It has a little square metal piece at its heel (about the size of a postage stamp). Press in lightly on this metal piece as you move it up or down just a bit, to unhook it. Then pull out the piston and spring assembly, insert staples in the hole and replace the piston. You must use T50 staples (of various lengths). T35 and others will not fit. Good luck, Al K

Cant get staples into it!!!

Sue, First, confirm that you have the right size staples. They are sized in two dimensions - width and length. The most common width sizes are T50 and T35. Your stapler and your pack of staples should have a number such as this. Your stapler will accept staples only of the correct width but of various lengths. The lengths are given in fractional inches - 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch are common.
But perhaps your problem is how to open the stapler. It does not swing open like a stapler you would use for papers. Instead, it has a sort of spring piston that has to be removed from the back-end of the stapler. If you lay the stapler down flat on the table so that the hinge of the handle is at the upper left corner, then what I am calling the back-end of the stapler is the lower right corner. Pick up the stapler so that you are looked directly at this back-end. There is a small metal square at this corner that is spring-loaded and is held in place by a little hook. Push in on this metal square as you move it up (or is it down?) to disengage the hook. Now the piston will pull out easily. Put your staples in the hole (they will only go in one way) and replace the piston. I hope you found this helpful Good luck!

How do I open a model T-50 staple gun?

On the rear of the stapler (if you look at the picture on this web page, the lower right) there is a metal piece that you push in, then down slightly, to unlock. When you release it, a spring loaded bar and follower will come out. You will see where the staples slide in. Put the follower back in the grooves and reinstall.

Arrow T-50 stapler

Take out the screw/nut combo @ the end of the gun where you load the staples. The whole rail that holds the staples will then come out and you can then get the little devils of the nested, jammed, rousted up staples out by sliding them out with a screwdriver. Don't jam the screwdriver into your fingers/hand when doing it.
