So um the dell 3120 wont turn on and i have tried charging it but the light indicator wont turn on and it was right after sticking somthing in the noble lock as its called?

Happened same with me on my Core i5, 4th gen, whenever I to login my blog on scopes https://thescopes.net/ it show a design break. Did you found any solution for this?

We have found one thing that may resolve this issue with the 3120 is to disconnect the battery from the motherboard, then reconnect.

Dell 3120 Chrome book it is (and cheap) 5 years old, 300euro new.
99% of problems on mobile devices is battery is no good.
my guess is this NOble is DESK bound CABLE lock,
sorry can NOT fix locks here, ever.
this thin note book has the big battery hidden deep inside.
and may be bad, and means it will not run on AC power pack alone.
if AC fails to run PC, we (in a shop) take the big battery out and test in AC pack, if the laptop now runs ok if yes, the battery is TOAST (they can short too)

5 years on a battery is very good., some fail at 1.(abused)
get the PC fixed in a shop
or read the service manual at dell, costs zero to read .
or sell it, and upgrade.

Hi what is happening is that your turn off your car and left the wheels turned to one side and specially if your car is parke in a hill what you have to do is to force the steering wheel to the same direction of your wheels this will free up the ignition switch it is going to be hard let me tell you but it will work and this is why your shift don't work once you have the ignition switch free then your shift will work again

No! the power supply is sealed, go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to power supply, and go through the list, you find pricing is reasonable.

Is it an orange battery indicator? If it is, it means the AC adapter is charging the battery. Please charge the battery for 1 hour before you press the power button again.

Mydell 5160 has a yellow blinking light on the front 1st from right. any suggestion on cause or solutions.

It is the battery Status indicator and flasing orange light indicates that battery is low. After connecting the charger it should turn solid green, which indicates that the battery is charging and it turns off when battery is charged completely.
If it continously blinks, check out the charger and battery.

Laptop wont turn on with a new battery and new charger

if there is no indication light that the unit is powered up replace the power cord and charger. if this still does not work Contact Dell directly or visit there website for more info. Hope this helps :)

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 and on the front is an indicator light next to a light bulb icon and it never turns off, how can I turn it off?

hi-I have 2 of these 5100 notebooks-indicator lights are as follows -left is bluetooth next one is wireless lan, next one is power on,and the last one is battery. only way I know is to unplug it when not in usand the light will go off. if plugged in the light will stay on showing charging(orange) and charged (green). me i just put somthing in front of the light to block it from lighting my room at night.yes, they should have made it turn off at full charge, but they did not. good luck with that-hope this was helpful. have a great day!

Tomtom will not turn on.

Your battery might be completely flat.

Try the followings:
1) Connect your Tomtom to a PC/LAPTOP via a USB data cable or to the provided car charger: you should see a 'red' indicator lighted near the ON/OFF push button: this indicates that power is getting to your device.
2) If the red indicator is function is on, stick a tooth pick or match stick in the 'reset' hole at the bottom of the unit (opposite the mini USB cable port) and while still applying pressure to trigger the reset button, turn the device ON via the ON/OFF button at the top: this will cause the system to go into diagnostic mode/hard reset.
3) Take the the tooth pick/match stick out of the reset hole and the power the device off.
4) The device should turn on now, at least while still being charged.
If your device cannot be turn on while being charged and reset, then you have a major failure.
If your device can be only be turn on while being charged , then you will need to replace the internal rechargeable battery.

It wont turn on

If your charge indicator light is not lighting, you may be right. The most common failure is the connector socket where the cord attaches to the computer. Inspect for cracks, looseness, etc. Try wiggling and rotating the connector with it plugged in and look for charge light indication. Move slowly as the indicator light is often slow to respond.

If you can get it to flicker when you hold it "just right", you may need to look at getting it repaired. I have sent away several laptops to a shop that specializes in this repair.

An intermediate step would be to find a computer repair location (our firedog at Circuit City used to be equipped before they closed) who has either an assortment of power adapters or a universal power adapter. They can try to power it up that way to determine if it's your charger.

Four beeps wont turn on, Dell 4700

The four beeps usually indicate a memory problem and it won't pass it's Power On Self Test. Try reseating the memory sticks, or, if you have two of them, take one out and try to start the machine and then swap them.
If this doesn't solve the problem, you most likely have a bad motherboard.

Hi Gohan102,

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....

Try to change the RAM and see if that's the problem. If your memory is faulty it won't start or it might start and then freeze. If your laptop has two memory modules, try only one at a time. Switch the sockets on the board that you try the memory in as well
