I don't know. most dryers come with a chart showing what wires are for. green is usually used for ground but read
your chart. few have chart with owner's manual and most i have seen are in a clear plastic bag stuck on the back or
stuck in the open area under the tub.

The capacitors on the high voltage board on the back are out. You will have to replace the board.

SOURCE: need a wireing diagram for

Hi,

Often the wiring diagram maybe found in the console area or under the dryer top panel. Due to regional differences in electrical code and power requirement, wiring system hence the diagram may differ. Additionally, it would also differ if you are using a 4 wire outlet or a 3 wire hookup.

At this point, perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified professional who is very familiar with the electrical/power system of your area as well as general wiring of dryers. Should you venture a DIY, pls post back power requirements/availability whether for a 240/120 or 110/110.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: I have a maytag model 747g dryer. I dryer tumbles

The heating element is burnt out. Unplug the dryer. Follow the wires from the control panel. They will go to the heating element. The element is probably held in by anywhere from 2 to 6 screws. Remove the screws and you should be able to pull out the element. The element is coiled wire that heats up when power is applied. If you look closely you can probably see a break in it. To get a replacement you will need the model number which will be on a metal plate either on the back of the dryer or inside the dryer door. Take the old part with you so you can do a comparison and make sure you get the right part.
