SOURCE: wahl designer clipper

Have you been oiling the blades? If you ran out of oil you can use any light machine oil available at any hardware store. If you feel comfortable opening the unit you will be able to see the electromagnet inside and watch what is going on. If all else fails Buy a new set (the exact kind) and keep the receipt. Swap them out and return it from the store where you purchased it. You paid good money for them and they should not have died so quickly. The store will get full credit for it when they return it to the manufacturer so it is not that morally bad. The manufacturer should bare the burden because of the poor quality control that allowed your clipper to die in such a short period of time. Hope you find this solution helpful and the last option is a surefire fix...

SOURCE: does the Wahl Model AC Trimmer have an adjustment

Wahl has two type of blades for this AC trimmer, some come with a fix blade no adjustment, the other type of blade has adjustable blade. Wahl dose market the blade as adjustable or non adjustable. But mannyssharpening.com has the adjustable blade type were they can adjust the blade for a close cut.

The head of my Wahl clippers model 9639-700 came off and I can not seem to get it back on. how does it go back on?

The head simply snaps on and snaps off. If yours is in pieces, the plastic backing is broken and you will need a new head

When the Wahl model number 96397 0 is finished charging what color is the LED light?

According to the Amazon web site below:

https://www.amazon.com/Wahl-Haircut-Beard-Trimmer-9639-700/dp/B00I52A884

" Q: How long does it take to attain a full charge? Is there an indicator on the unit stating that it's fully charged?
A: I estimate that the 1st charge took about 12 hours since there is nothing on the unit to tell when it is fully charged.

Q: What is red light for? Stayed lit all the time for first charge. Now only lights when I shake the cord.
A: It is pretty much an indicator that the device is undergoing charge but does NOT turn colors i.e. does NOT turn to green once fully charged. Think of it as an operating light, it lights up when undergoing charge and that's about it.

I'm looking for a 9639-017 wahl shaver power cord. anyone know where i can get one please?

Try MFG website. or email their customer service. Or try
Ebay. Or sometimes the shaver cords are interchangeable with other makes. I have noticed that some electronic power supplys are using what is the same female end.

Wahl 9639 install blade problems

Ahaaaa... you should find a little 'finger' from inside of the body... Make SURE your moving blade mates with it!

NOTE the tiny black finger in the middle? It has 2 longer fingers left and right...

Gee while you are in there you SHOULD replace the battery too!

I took my Wahl clippers apart to clean ......

Okay I fixed mine. this is I what I did and it works now take the big blade and put it on a table, take the little blade and put on top of the big blade if you look closely at the big blade you can see where the little blade went, make sure you allign the blades. next take the white thing dont know what you call it bit it rotates the blades put that on the little blade, take the gold piece align with holes to the big blade and take the silver piece allign with holes and then put the screws back in. when you put it on the clipper make sure the white piece goes in the hole that rotates the blades and sould go in fine
