Question about ZTE Cell Phones
You don't. The chances of ruining the capabilities of the phone or turning it into a paperweight is about 60%. The programs are written by script kiddies and not written by ZTE software engineers.
For a normal customer set lock, you just do a hard reset.
If it is a PUK lock, only the telco that owns the phone can unlock it . They use an unbreakable 128bit RSA encrypted password 6 or 8 characters long. Only done if the phone is stolen or you try to use another telco SIM card. If you just want to remove the tie to a telco, they will do that for a nominal fee once the contract expires.
