The only thing I can think of is the IBT belt might have a mark on it. If the 'X' mark is in the same place on each print, regardless of size A3 or A4 then the problem is being printed intentionally e.g. within the file, if it's more random then it could be the belt. Is it only in the black, if so recheck the black drum. Is the mark on the edge of the paper it could be the cleaning system problem.
This is one problem that would need to be seen.
