The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.

To unlock the Puk code you need to call the contact number for the service provider for your Sim. Alternatively you can unlock the PUK code at a local shop for a small fee, £10 or £20 in UK.

To unlock PUK, call the company that branded your Sim card.

You can locate your PUK usually it is included in your sim card kit when you purchase it. if you lost it already, this is the last thing we can do. Contact your operator customer care or visit them and ask for your PUK code and they are very glad to help you. they will ask you several questions regarding your account to verify if you are the real owner. You can also get it on-line on most operator if they have this service at their website.

Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code.

Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator."

A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from your SIM card Customer Care.
