Code 43 errors are nearly always caused by a driver issue. However, since you have tried the device in several different computers with the same result, I believe that your flash drive has gone bad or become damaged. Unfortunately this is not an uncommon problem with flash drives. Like any storage device on the computer, make sure you are backing up what is on your flash drive.

I hope this is helpful to you

I have a 250GB Buffalo Turbo USB Hardrive. Until today it was working fine. Now suddenly it says USB Driver not recognized. Whats the problem?

Try to insert it to the other usb ports and see if it works fine. If it doesn't, then probably there is a problem with it. But try to insert other usb devices in the usb ports of your computer, if it does'nt recognize also then the problem is in your usb ports.

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Coby's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Unknown device

Hello,
Plug it through different USB ports, even a USB Hub, or on a different computer. Sometimes rebooting solves the problem. I suspect it is a USB problem, especially on laptops with a small number of USB ports.
I have given mine up as dead several times, but it always comes back up gain.
Hope it helps.

New songs can't be opened

You can use Windows Explorer to transfer files to your insignia sport player. First, in the settings on your player, go to Settings, USB Mode, Connection Type and select File & Folder. Then, plug your player in to your USB cable. Windows XP should automatically find your player and make a new drive letter in Windows Explorer. Simply drag and drop your mp3 files from your c drive to the new drive for your player. You'll notice that when you delete the files on your new drive for your player that it doesnt remove them from your player. You'll need to use your player (settings, system, erase internal) to erase internal (and external), but after that when you add new files, they will be added to the player when it does the profiling after you disconnect the USB cable. My device is no loner recognized

Go into the device manager, click on View > Show hidden devices. Look under unknown devices or under USB for unknown devices. Also check under the section relating to the type of usb device. If you find an Unknown Device, or a device with an exclamation point, right click on it and uninstall. Disconnect the device, reboot and install the drivers/software for it if any. If it's still not working check it in another computer. If you cannot get it to work in either machine, the usb plug of the device is probably damaged. Possibly a loose solder joint. Have the manufacturer send you a new one if its still under warranty.
