There may be dust on the brushes. Try blasting the entire saw with compressed air.

My dewalt charger DCB100 blinks rapidly all the time. I thought my batteries were getting old so i purchased a new one-same thing. The charger blinks rapidly even with no battery in it. Any Ideas??

Definitely a defective charger unfortunately, I'd contact their customer services department for assistance in a replacement either by its warrantee or if this has expired I'd ask how much they will charge but look around ie Amazon etc to see if you can purchase a genuine one slightly cheaper, I do hope this helps

I have a Dewalt dnc692 dual speed nailer. How do you change the speed

Above the battery compartment you should see a switch that gives you the choice of firing nails from 50mm to 70mm or from 71mm to 90mm. That is the speed switch. For firing nails 50 - 70mm the motor speed is reduced so that there is not too much force driving these shorter nails deep in the wood and allowing the driver blade to get stuck in the wood with the possibility of bending it or snapping it. If you tried to fire a 90mm nail on this setting you will find it does not drive fully in and you may get the indication of a jam.

Dewalt dc9310 charger flashing

On some chargers, when the light blinks rapidly, it means that the battery is bad. Try looking up charger information on-line.

I pulled a stuck nail out if my dewalt nailer now it won't push nail through

Ok you took the stuck nail out of the gun where it was stuck with the driver, yes. If so, Take air off,, take a long skinny screw driver and stick it in said hole and check to see if driver has returned the stroke backwards to a ready to fire position. If you feel the driver still forward push it backwards all the way. Remove all tools,, load a clip, hook the air hose and fire. if you get a nail (success) but if it fails after this shot and the same problems start all over again the chances are the driver is broken..

When i put air to my gun it has rapid fire and will not stop. How do i fix this

It sounds like either the trigger valve is stuck of malfunctioning. It is item 68 on this diagram. With the toll UNPLUGGED from air make sure the trigger pin is releasing as it should when the trigger is depressed. Obviously do not check this with it plugged into an air line.

As I try to fire the gun, I just get a small thump of air and no nail fires This gun is 2 years old and worked perfectly when I put it away last spring.

Problem you describe is typical of stuck driver or firing valve. Easy to check; remove head and make sure piston moves down cylinder (upon removing head, piston should be at top). Your gun utilizes sliding cylinder instead of moving valve in head. When you pull the trigger the cylinder moves down allowing air pressure to drive piston down. Orings swell overtime which prevents the cylinder from moving/firing. If cylinder does not move down/up, may be time for rebuild kit. Parts are available at dewalt service center or can be ordered from www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good luck

Press the trigger and all we get is a puff of air

could be driver stuck with jammed nail or the firing valve is stuck in the head. If this is a Dewalt tool go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number for a breakdown before removing the cap.
