F2 error code on a Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer DS605. We have replaced the rotor motor with a new one, but the error code will not go away. Drainage hose was also split and has been replaced.

If you are looking to reset the error code. On page 28 "Fault Codes", it talks about "How to attend to a fault code".

I am assuming you have the DD605 double drawer dishwasher. Is the problem F5 on both drawers or just one?

F5 code involves the drawer lid seal and will need a bit of effort to check and fix.

Take the drawer out and inspect the inside of the top panel for a black rubber strip. If it is broken or not responding to up down movement then it needs to be replaced. In addition the actuator motors on each side that drive the seal could be faulty.

If you are not comfortable with repairing slightly complex apliances then you may have to call the technician.

Hi

F2 error is displayed when control won't sense motor to be rotating, usually occurs due to frozen/bad motor or stuck motor rotor or the RPS sensor or a bad stator assembly. If the motor rotor spins freely and both impellers are securely attached then the issue is with the RPS sensor. If the motor won't rotate then it is the motor rotor that has to be replaced. F2 error code won't drain
The problem is with rotor assembly of the drawer that is causing the F2 error. Turn power off. Empty water using a small container and towel to dry base.


Remove the washer arm and drain filter sump cover. Twist the rotor at the base out from the socket gently but firmly.
Clean the cavity and check the rotor for damage. Put everthing back in and turn power on.If F2 does not go away then replace rotor.

My Fisher and Paykel flashed a F2 error code. What does it mean and what can be done to clear it.
F2 error means motor problem. This could be due to several reasons. The most common is grime going in from the drain filter and getting stuck around the motor rotor cavity.

Follow instructions in your user guide to clean the filter plate. At this point you can take the rotor out and clean the cavity. The rotor can be pulled out carefully without pressing too hard on the impellers.

If this does not help then try cleaning the connecting link between the drain filter and motor cavity. You will need a thin stiff wire for this.

Finally if nothing works, the rotor might be broken and needs replacing.

Try swapping the motor rotors between the two drawers and see if the fault changes drawers, also check for anything stuck under the motors or and damage to the plastic of them. cheers

Dishdrawer model DD603 gives fault F2 (Motor). Unit has only been used a few times. What to do? Out of warranty.
Ok this is what you do you need to swap over the motor rotors from top drawer to bottom drawer. check for anything jammming the rotor etc when you take it out. if it works with the other drawers rotor then you need a new motor rotor. cheers

Fisher Paykel Dish Drawer Is Leaking At The Bottom Hi friends. I have a Fisher Paykel single-drawer dishwasher model #DD24SI6. A few days ago it would start beeping red and stop working after starting a cycle, with error code E2 when opening the machine, it would highlight the delicate cycle, which is how this machine communicates error codes. It turns out the motor rotor was bad as it had fused with the housing and would not spin freely. I was able to remove it after some time and replaced it with an OEM replacement #524285P. This part is technically a newer vision, but the manufacturer doesn't make the original and they recommend this part to replace it as it's compatible. I installed it today, ran one Rinse cycle, and all seemed fine but I noticed when I opened the drawer that water was leaking out the bottom. The plastic housing attached to the bottom of the motor/bin area has water in it, along with the tray in the cupboard. I don't know why water is here rather than in the proper drainage path. Any ideas? Thanks.
