SOURCE: Dell projector, Mac book Pro display problem

Hi smithmollie,

There should be a "displays" icon 67f8081.png in the top right portion of the menu bar where you can change the display mode to "Mirror Display" whenever you connect the projector.

If it's not there go to "System Preferences" > "Displays" > "Display" tab and put a checkmark next to "Show displays in menu bar".

Also you can go to "System Preferences" > "Displays" and leave it open while connecting the projector and change the settings to "Mirror Display" there.

Best regards,

Thomas

SOURCE: Apple Driver for Model l713v

it may not be the operating system as much as the computer. the native resolution for the projector is 800x600, but the max is 1024x768 and it's analog. so, you may have to change your resolution.

SOURCE: how do i hook my samsung spl300 projector to my mac book pro

You can connect your Projector with the Mac Book Pro; However the problem is, mac comes with a DVI connector and your projector uses a VGA one.
You need to buy a DVI to VGA adapter from Apple if you don't have one already. You can buy it from the local apple stores or an online apple store.
There are two types of DVI-VGA adapters available (Please check the below images and see which one fits your Mac and go for it). Apple DVI to VGA Display Adapter
Apple Mini DVI to VGA Adapter Once you decided which one you need, go to an apple store or online apple shop and buy one.
Hope This helps.best regardsNextDoorNerd

SOURCE: trying to connect mac book

Depending on the inputs on your projector and the outputs on the Macbook, you'll need to pickup one of a few adapters.
For a mini-dvi to VGA, you'll need http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9320G/A
For a mini-display port to VGA, you'll need http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB572Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDA4Mw&mco=MTczNzEzNzU.

SOURCE: Lost install disk for Mac book pro My 13" Mac book

You will need some install disks to even begin working on your issue.
Your options:

  • Find someone with the same model MacBook Pro and borrow the disks.
  • Buy a copy of Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and use them. If you are going to buy a set you might as well update to Snow Leopard (10.6)
  • Check eBay for install disks but make sure they are for the same model MacBook Pro.
  • Contact an Apple service center and purchase a replacement set of install disks.
Once you have a install CD, I would recommend backing up your system by making a disk image of the hard drive to an external drive. Then doing a clean install and then using the Migration Assistant to restore your user files to the clean install on your hard drive.

Recognize macbook connect

You may need to check the settings of your mac book that permits you to output the signal to an external display. Also you may need to purchase a display port adapter (VGA, HDMI or DVI) that is compatible with the input connector on the projector

How to display Monitor image from mac book through samsung SP-H03 pico projector?

It's not that easy. The SP-H03 accept VGA input through the D-Sub connector. Mac book does not have this output directly. So you need another piece of adapter for the MAC Book to provide VGA output. It would come out from your Mac "Display Port /orThunderbolt port".
Another way is to use a USB to VGA adapter for Mac.

No display

Try a restart with the projector still connected. See if it detects it after a restart.

My mac book and epson projector doesn't show the signal

To my knowledge there are no video drivers to output video on a Mac USB port in the Mac OS system. There are however, devices that connect to the USB port that will give video out on Conventional (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc) connectors.e.g. http://www.newertech.com/products/viddu2dvia.phpMost projectors connect via VGA - what Projector are you using?
