No PC stated no reason for reset, "symptoms"
hd 530 is a very old,. CPU + IGPU.
no PC stated nor OS stated, is this windows 10 PC? y/n?
on w10, we go to device manager, click the 530 and right click it and update driver.
or remove it same way and be internet CONNECTED and reboot
and PnP runs and updates the 530 driver automatically.
or load the driver by hand here.

if there is PCI GPU card in the PC, then the 530 is not allowed to run. if you remove any PCI-e GPU card the 530 is ready to run.

Video driver problem - black screen

My Dell Inspiron 530 (running Vista) started having video problems. (After working fine for months).  It would boot and let me log in, and would display the desktop for a moment, then the desktop would refresh, the screen would go black, and my Viewsonic VG 150 LCD monitor would display an error "Out of Range".
"Out of Range" error means "I am getting a signal, but it's not a signal that I recognize so I can't display the image".
It would boot correctly in Safe Mode, and also in 640*480 resolution.  But it would not work in 1024*768 resolution (the native resolution of this LCD).
I noticed that Microsoft Update had, the night before, installed an Optional update to the Intel onboard video controller driver.  The driver was dated Feb 2008 and that is the latest from Intel, so I don't understand why it installed a new update in April 2009 (?).
I ran the Dell diagnostics on the video hardware and I did notice that in one sequence of about 15 screens that flashed quickly, two of them displayed the Out of Range error. So clearly the Intel video hardware is able to generate a mode that this monitor cannot handle.
My best guess is that something about the automatic Update of the driver is what broke this installation.

I removed the Intel driver (in Device Manager.. Display Adapters), so Vista fell back to its generic video driver, and the problem went away... I can select 1024*768 resolution and it boots fine.
I haven't yet attempted to reinstall the Intel driver (I'm just happy to have it working again).

2010 Macbook pro i5 15" Image seen only with flashlight.

As always the Apple products are proprietary and DISPLAY post has issues. Disregard all the testing with other adapters and displays and replace the inverter first, it is the cheaper option.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5096... I am having a situation where the display starts to flash on and off and then a balloon pops up saying that the Intel HD graphics driver has stopped and that...

Hi there. Since the message tells us that this is a problem with the video card driver, you may try to download the latest version of Intel HD graphics.
You can first check Device Manager (Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard and enter devmgmt.msc) Check if there is a yellow exclaimation point on the list. If yes, get the correct drivers from Toshiba's website.
If none, try to expand Display Adapters and right click Intel HD graphics < Update Driver Software.

Hi, i have acer aspire 4750G. It has 2 graphic cards, an intel HD and nvidia 540M.. currentIy its using the intel HD. I want to know how can I switch it to nvidia?

Heres how... Its normal to have 2(two) display adapters on Acer Aspire 4750G. To enable NVIDIA GeForce, install the Intel HD Family Chipset Driver First from the installation disk that is included on its package, or click here, or if link doesnt work find it here. Then install the NVIDIA GeForce Driver, also included in installation disk, or click here. That should fix it. Enjoy the 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M.

Lenovo 3000 n200 0769AMU press power on switch green light on after about 1 sec screen still black no HD light fan running

Welcome to Fixya

Try to drain the electrostatic charge of the motherboard that usually cause this issue. I wrote a tip on how to do the power drain. Try to plug in external monitor on the VGA port and see if you are getting display using external monitor. If you are getting display using external monitor then the problem would be the laptop LCD. If you are getting the same black screen using external monitor then the problem is already the motherboard.

I have installed a I7-870 cpu in a intel H55TC mainboard after assemblein the computer does not show the display and is beeping sound is comming Memory used is Kingston 2GB DDR3

The graphics ports on this board are only usable with Core i3 500
series (530, 540, etc.) and Core i3 600 series (650, 661, etc.) These
Clarkdale CPUs have built in Intel HD Graphics which would power
use the onboard ports. You have an i7 870 Lynfield which does not
have built in graphics, so these ports are for all intents and purposes
"dead".You will need to purchase a graphics card to get a display.
This is the case with all H55 and H57 motherboards.
