The C330 cannot change to the Chinese language, however, there is an Asian Language version available from Garmin which does include Chinese. As fore being able to download directions from your computer, the C330 is not capable of receiving directions from the computer. You can download firmware updates to it, and purchase and download new maps, but you cannot, for instance, get Mapquest or similar directions and have the unit take you that way.

Wife bought c330 for Christmas. Being ignorant of all such gagets I could use an instruction manual, I.E.--how to download new directions from my computer. No, I have not even tried my new gift. Looks like it will be helpful on a trip.
