Question about Kenmore Kitchen Ranges
Stove works by no control panel or oven
The thermal fuse can't be reset if the fuse has or is blown, it must have to be replaced. One of the wires that supply power to the oven element or igniter might be burnt out. These wires will generally burn out near the heat source. To determine if a wire has burned out, inspect the wires leading to the element or igniter.

Hi. your assessment is correct. when you have normal operations with the stove top and the control panel is blank or non operational, this will confirm either a wiring harness issue or a dead control circuit board. The wiring harness can sometimes become lose or the connectors can become corroded but, in this issue, i am sure its the ECB(electroninc control board). In this case, you will have to replace the board it self.
Please rate and god bless:)

ater spilled (4-5 cups) on the stove top running down into the stove control panel face (where you view oven temp, timer, etc). No water ever dripped into the oven or oven window. The stove top still works but the oven, warming drawer, clock are all non responsive after three days. No buttons on the control panel work at all. What repair is needed?
